No, I don't believe listening to such music, especially if there are no offensive lyrics or lyrics at all, is sinful. I could see how listening to a song with foul language and sexual, violent, or otherwise themes that suggest the listener sin. I listen to mostly classical music in order to have some help in thinking deeply, although I like some electronic music as well. I am not sure what hard techno is, but I know about ambient music, which has no lyrics. Have you ever heard of the band Kraftwerk? They are an electronic music band that has some techno sounds, and lyrics, although they do not use any curse words in their songs. In my opinion, listening to them is very clean. I try to avoid listening to some artists because of excessive swearing in their songs, or because of their blatant disregard for Christianity.

If anybody could find out where in the Bible exactly music is mentioned, you are welcome to mention it here for us to discuss.

Ok here's one that is very good music and it's from a anime called bleach and the picture of the main character transformed into a skeltel like being with horns I personally don't care but it doesn't matter one bit, ignore it therefore, just listen to the music piece. It's too bad it's so short, it's really good, with it's framework of mind you'll get from it/should get, k here.

I think things like that are fine. I like the anime Bleach, myself, although I am only up to around episode 40. As long as the music you listen to does not trouble your walk with Jesus Christ as a Christian, your relationship with him, then you would seem fine in my belief. I draw the line at a point in which certain types of music or songs cause a distance from God, and things like that aren't good. Then, the same principle could apply not only to music, but also to books, television, movies, video games, and other forms of entertainment. If you feel guilty for doing something, it is likely the Holy Spirit informing you there is something troublesome about the matter, and that it is not something God would approve of. I hope I could be of help to you.

Well like some music I love is instrumental and like sounds: swift and advanced and like I'm a magical god of enpowerment and gives me motivation for thinking and power and rule and order and of really good greatness of power/theme and I'v been thinking it seems distant from god's "look" of acting, but seems totally good and right but distant to god as if god is looked at being then toooo holy, since like I said the music is swifty and advanced and of a higher acts.....

Then maybe a question is is trancy uped vvvvouuuvvvvvoooouuuu music ok why not, and advanced swift music, ok um you maybe get the point~ Lol..

It's not the music doing that to your mind, it's probably your artistic nature, and a bit of need of affirmation; which isn't a bad thing. Are you prone to day dreaming and being in your head? I temper this demand by seeking out others to connect with. You sound like a performer type, ie musician, actor, or artist.

Ya my dream is to create and have the greatest music, games/board games/video games, movies, and have my partner and in heaven, I can imagine in my head all these awesome things that would be the best of each~ Like a movie called GOD for example and a person makes this whit glowing ball that can grow and levitate and make anything and uses it to become one or any creature also and can make anything and live forever and then builds heaven bigger than galaxies far away and of many places in it and lol...Video games that never end and get harder and like level 2047 and its all glossy white and high tech most advanced beings/glossy white soldiers being around the corner and a mission and vibrant best quality and colors...

Also tell me what you think about these.
I also like being feminine and have long hair and fringe and am straight, it's natural and how the body is meant to be, I'm very attracted to my thin muscless tanless piercless/tattooless body and face. You like yourself and any opposite gender and escpecially if they look like you.

I am on a work task my whole life now in case there is no god to make sure I live forever, I'm scared of dieing and want to make sure, I have no proof of a god existing for sure, so I'm going to always try and work on it and even go into cryonics freezing if I don't make it, hopefully nanotech happens soon and robotic/synthetic neuron cells, and stem cell things. And other ways~

All I mostly want is a girl and I charish kink and dedication. I hope god is ok with this and made it in fact and that it's in heaven and I finally get her, it should be since two consciousnesses willll always want to go "very close" and be more than friends and so then lovers~

Autumnleaf has it. Styles of music aren't an issue for Christians. However music does have an effect on the emotions. That's why it's so powerful. What does it do to you? If helps gear up your brain, and that's it, great. If it has less positive impact on you, don't listen to it.

I would be uncomfortable with music whose words are anti-Christian, but a lot of normal pop music is that way. You don't give us any specific lyrics so I can't judge whether what you're listening to is a problem or not. Nor is it really necessary for me to do so. You're old enough to make that kind of judgement.

It's music, techno, no words, heavy vibes that give me smart power to think and nevertheless can listen to for any reason I want, trance and good powerful fast music, it is not a sin right?

I don't know what that is, but there are some good Biblical principles you can apply to see if it's fit to listen to. In our house, we've always taught our children to evaluate media choices by asking themselves a series of four questions:

1. Does it pass the Philippians 4 test?

Is it true? Is it honorable? Is it just? Is it pure? Is it lovely? Is it commendable? Is there any excellence? Is there anything worthy of praise?

2. Does it pass the Galatians 5 test?

Does it exhibit, glorify, or incite the works of the flesh, which are sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, either in thought or in deed?

Or does it exhibit, glorify, or encourage the fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control?

3. Does it pass the 1 Corinthians 8 test?

Even if it's something God grants us the liberty to enjoy or engage in, would our doing it cause a weaker brother or sister in Christ to sin or to stumble in their walk with Christ?

4. Is it an idol to you?

If it's something that failed the three tests above, would you give it up? If so, then what would your attitude be about giving it up? Would you be glad to give it up, knowing it doesn't glorify God, isn't conducive to growth in Christ, and could cause a weaker brother or sister in Christ to sin or stumble in their walk with Christ?

Or would you give it up grudgingly or not give it up at all? If so, then it's an idol.

Yes, no, no, no-to above, so it passes all those~ But to me my girl would be an idol, more hugging her than to god, only applicable of more tightness than to god lol. Once god puts me in heaven and gives me power and lots of things I'll be greatfull, but the most love goes to partner. >Great love between 2 consciousnesses<

No at home I stay in and listen to music, stay in alot.

I listen to alot of avtechno music.
