Thanks, that was what I looked for.Yeah....Matthew 1:23.Notice, too, there aren't any verses in the rest of the New Testament that imply that God forgot to put the stem on the apple.

Galatians 4:4 is another one, and it is among the earliest verses written in the New Testament.

I read somewhere
that in the latter days some shall depart from the faith, giving way to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons. The internet is a gateway to finding good sound teaching... and also all the doctrines of demons you want. You did good by asking... verify, then move on. Blessings.

It's worth referring to the Gospel of John:3:16 where it said God's begotten Son. "Son" literally meant male. and in so many other Bible verses Jesus is referred to being as Son. Hope this answered well.

The verse explains this, "in the latter times, some shall depart from the faith." So, a little less truth in one, a little less truth in another, and eventually you become like the seed that is scattered on hard rocky ground and not good soil. The Adversary will use time as well, a generation... to press into acceptance a half truth that will be built upon in subsequent generations.

I won't pick anything because I believe that most doctrines build over a period of time. One person gains an insight and then somebody else a generation later adds to that insight with one of his own, and, if I can steal a secular term, the doctrine will evolve. If you stand today thinking that the current understanding of the trinity has been consistent since 321AD (Nicea) then you would be mistaken. There was a time, when, if one didn't admit to "praying to Jesus directly," that person would have been killed for denying the trinity. That sounds more like modalism them trinitarianism, but for a time that was the formula. There is NO BETTER BOOK at revealing how doctrine develops, than Harold OJ Brown's "Heresies." It isn't an easy read, you read 3-5 pages and put it down to let it absorb.
So, some doctrines might not be true but they are not evil, whereas others are not true and evil and designed to pull one away from God. And that is the scale I use... if anything being taught is causing others to stumble OR stands in contrast to the CHARACTER of God, I generally avoid it as something I would accept as truth and then explore it to find the holes to help others see it for the facade it is.

Yes... the defining what a "doctrine of demon" is might be important because if the idea is that it will pull one away from God, the Adversary wins. Is Yeshua a male? Well, make him a woman or something the LGBT community can accept, and we have altered his character, taken from his reputation... and biblically speaking, that is what "profaning his name" means. And, that would be a doctrine of demons. It is like attacking the virgin birth... "But maiden is a better translation." Yes, but a "unmarried woman" (maiden) in that culture was a virgin so why start the argument when it will only cause strife? Because it is the doctrine of a foul spirit to cause strife and divide, not the Spirit of God.
