So maybe you would die for anyone...except one afflicted with homosexuality?
Christ already did.

My problem is not that you shouldn’t talk about sin. Rather that I come with conflict about how many Christians have used hateful and the fear of god to get people to change. I never liked that way of thinking. It feels like your forcing someone instead of guiding someone. This is why so many and not just lgbt reject god. They see people who state to be his followers but don’t feel safe

And you are in Him...and He in you?
I’m not going to listen to your “what if” nonsense. I just testified what Christ saying about dealing with someone who is offended by the truth concerned homosexuality. Move on!
Don't take it from me, take it from God.You can be friends with someone and not support their every choice. You can love someone and still let them know you do not approve their choices. I am sure you have friends that partake in other sins ( whether you know about them or not. does that mean that you are not friends with them?
Don't take it from me, take it from God.
"Do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore, whoever chooses to be a friend of the world renders himself an enemy of God."
James 4:4
IF you love the world or anyone in it.... MORE than you love God... THAT is what that verse refers to.Don't take it from me, take it from God.
"Do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore, whoever chooses to be a friend of the world renders himself an enemy of God."
James 4:4
We are to LOATHE the sin (ALL SIN) but love the sinner, in mercy, love and kindness. To choose mercy as Jesus showed us mercy... not to take another by the throat after we ourselves were pardoned of our debit.
Loving people does not equal being friends with them. We're talking about people here...not the world (fallen system) or certain sins. Love all people...period.
IF God wanted us to HATE the world, Jesus wouldnt have added "Love your neighbor as yourself" after "Love God with all your heart, soul and mind."
The people are "the world".
