Is homosexuality a sin?

Hi, there seems to be a lot of Christians who believe homosexuality is not a sin, I have allway's believed it is according to the scriptures below. For those that believe it is not a sin, i would like to hear your translation of these scriptures. Until then, this sounds pretty clear to me

Included here are the major verses which address the sin of homosexuality. There are others in the Bible. The following verses are from the KJV, which IS the True Word of GOD.

Verses and Jack's interpretation of them.

Let us first understand what God thinks about homosexuality, as God tells us, not as we invented. The Book of Leviticus warns us that homosexuality is an abomination before Him. The dictionary explains Abomination as "great hared and disgust; a loathing, disgusting", in words that we can understand, it is so distasteful that it would make you want to throw up. Therefore, God gives a direct command. "Thou SHALL NOT!!" then God gives another command concerning those who practice homosexuality, "They shall be PUT TO DEATH!!" I believe that these two verses (as well as others that we will look at later) puts to rest, and shows to be false, the statements by some that God made them that way. The Book of Genesis shows us that when God created everything including man that He pronounced all of it to be good, now here we are told by God that homosexuality in not good, therefore homosexuality could only have come from Satan who brought sin into the world.

Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.



The following verse shows us that all fornicators (of which homosexuality is a form of) and those who are abusers of themselves with mankind (homosexuality) can not enter into heaven. If they will not repent and turn away from the sin of homosexuality, they will go into the Lake of Fire, which is the Second Death.

1 Corinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,



Man has been committing this sin since before the flood. Please note what happened to Noah, when he got drunk, in Genesis 9:22, 24-25 . While this does not say specifically that Ham performed a homosexual act on Noah, it is clear that Ham did more than just look at his father. Since Ham had been blessed by God, Noah placed a curse on Ham's son Canaan.

Genesis 9:22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren outside.

Genesis 9:24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.

Genesis 9:25 And he said, cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.



Now let us have a look at the story of God destroying Sodom and Gomorrha with brimstone and fire and His reason for doing it. We start with God and two angels coming to Abraham to tell Abraham what God will do. God explains to Abraham why He, God , is telling Abraham what is about to happen. This is a long story but is best placed here in its' eternity.

Genesis 18:16 And the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way.

Genesis 18:17 And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;

Genesis 18:18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

Genesis 18:19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

Genesis 18:20 And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrha is great, and because their sin is very grievous;

The sin being committed in Sodom is so distasteful to God that He is going to destroy all of the people and their cities because of their sins of homosexuality. (we will see in a few more verses that virtually all of the people commit the sin of homosexuality and see nothing wrong).

Genesis 18:21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.

Genesis 18:22 And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.

Genesis 18:23 And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?



Abraham begins to beg for the lives of the righteous, those who live there but do not do the sin of homosexuality.

Genesis 18:24 Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?

Genesis 18:25 That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

Genesis 18:26 And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.

Genesis 18:27 And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am but dust and ashes:

Genesis 18:28 Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it.

Genesis 18:29 And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty's sake.

Genesis 18:30 And he said unto him, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there.

Genesis 18:31 And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty's sake.

Genesis 18:32 And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake.

We can see here the mercy of God in the above verses. God agrees to spare all of them if there are even 10 people in these cities who do not commit the sin of homosexuality. But God knows that there will not be even 10. They have all accepted this act as Ok to do. Look around you today in America. The Gay community, the homosexuals, are not satisfied to perform their abominable acts in private, but are actively trying to convert everyone else to try their lifestyle and to become as one of them. They will lead this nation to the same fate as happened to Sodom. As a by the way, it is because of the perverted homosexual passions of those who lived in Sodom that gives the name of Sodomy to any homosexual act.



Genesis 18:33 And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.

Genesis 19:1 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;

Genesis 19:2 And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.

Genesis 19:3 And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.

Genesis 19:4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:

The above verse shows us just how prevalent this sin was in Sodom. From children to old men, from all parts of the city. They all came to the house of Lot. There were so many of them that they were able to completely encircle the house so that none could leave without being caught by them.



Genesis 19:5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.

They knew that two strangers had come into town and they wanted to rape them, each having a turn. Sexual desire run amuck. You say that it isn't that way here? Well we are on the way to that point again. The term " know them" is used through out the bible as having sex with that person (example genesis 4:1, 25)



Genesis 19:6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,

Genesis 19:7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.

Genesis 19:8 Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.

Genesis 19:9 And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.

Genesis 19:10 But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.

Genesis 19:11 And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.

Even after the men and boys of Sodom was blinded, they still tried to find the door so they could have sex with these strange men.



Genesis 19:12 And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place:

Genesis 19:13 For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it.

God ordered the destruction of Sodom because of the sin of homosexuality.



Genesis 19:14 And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.

Genesis 19:15 And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.

Genesis 19:16 And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.

Genesis 19:17 And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.

Genesis 19:18 And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord:

Genesis 19:19 Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die:

Genesis 19:20 Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.

Genesis 19:21 And he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for the which thou hast spoken.

Genesis 19:22 Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do any thing till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.

Genesis 19:23 The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.

Genesis 19:24 Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrha brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;

Genesis 19:25 And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.

All of the men in the above cities were committing the same sin of homosexuality and so were also destroyed along with Sodom.



Genesis 19:26 But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

Genesis 19:27 And Abraham got up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the LORD:

Genesis 19:28 And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrha, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.

Genesis 19:29 And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.

So ends the story of the destruction of Sodom and the surrounding cities for the sin of homosexuality.

In the Book of Deuteronomy, God warns that there had better not be either harlots or homosexuality (sodomites) among His people. It was common among the nations to have temple harlots, (women prostitutes) and dogs (male prostitutes) who would have sex with you for the glory of their god, and for a price. You are warned that you had better not hire either one. Also a warning again of God's Anger and Wrath against anyone who commits fornication, with either man or women.

Deuteronomy 23:17 There shall be no harlot of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.

Deuteronomy 23:18 Thou shalt not bring the hire of a harlot, or the price of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the LORD thy God.



Deuteronomy 29:23 And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrha, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath:



The Book of Judges relates to the Tribe of Benjamin in the town of Gibeah who were as a people, homosexuals. A traveler came into their town for the night, bringing with him his concubine. It relates that the men of the city who were "sons of Belial (Satan)" demanded that the man stranger be brought out to them so that they could have sex with him (rape). The man who's house they stayed at tried to protect his guest from their homosexual lust. The man of the house offered instead his own daughter and his guest's concubine instead. The men of the city accepted and raped the concubine until she died from it. The verses relate homosexuality to being wicked and vile, not only to God but also to man. Read the rest of the story to see what God does to the Benjamites for the acts committed by these men and to the entire tribe of Benjamin for their support of these vile and wicked acts.

Judges 19:22 relates that homosexuals are controlled, ruled by Satan, to perform their acts.

Judges 19:22 Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him.

Judges 19:23 And the man, the master of the house, went out unto them, and said unto them, Nay, my brethren, nay, I pray you, do not so wickedly; seeing that this man is come into mine house, do not this folly.

Judges 19:24 Behold, here is my daughter a maiden, and his concubine; them I will bring out now, and humble ye them, and do with them what seemeth good unto you: but unto this man do not so vile a thing.



The Book of First Kings relates to the sins being committed in the land of Judah. Among them the acts of Sodomites (homosexuals) , which was also a common practice among all the nations that God was destroying. As you saw above, God had warned them against this sin.

1 Kings 14:22 And Judah did evil in the sight of the LORD, and they provoked him to jealousy with their sins which they had committed, above all that their fathers had done.

1 Kings 14:23 For they also built them high places, and images, and groves, on every high hill, and under every green tree.

1 Kings 14:24 And there were also sodomites in the land: [and] they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.



And then came a king that followed God and all of His commands. As you saw above, God had commanded the death of anyone who committed homosexuality. King Asa put to death as many homosexuals as he could find in his kingdom (took away the sodomites out of the land). The verses tells us that he did right in the eyes of God.

1 Kings 15: 11 And Asa did [that which was] right in the eyes of the LORD, as [did] David his father.

1 Kings 15:12 And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.



And after King Asa died, his son Jehoshaphat became King and finished the job of putting to death all the rest of the homosexuals (sodomites), which it says was right in the eyes of God.

1 Kings 22:45 Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, and his might that he shewed, and how he warred, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

1 Kings 22: 46 And the remnant of the sodomites, which remained in the days of his father Asa, he took out of the land.



Isaiah gives warning again to both the people and leaders to Obey God, Listen to God's words and turn away from homosexuality. God has told you all through the Bible to Not do the sin of homosexuality, Why won't you listen to Him

Isaiah 1:9 Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, [and] we should have been like unto Gomorrha.

Isaiah 1:10 Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrha.



The following verse shows the arrogance of those we now call Gay, the Homosexuals. They are so caught up in their sinful pleasures of the flesh that they start to brag about it, to flaunt it in everyone's face. They no longer have any shame for doing this sin. They refuse to acknowledge that homosexuality is a sin against God, an abomination against God. BUT God says that their soul will be lost (Woe unto their soul). We will see later that they can turn away from this sin, for God is merciful and will forgive if you turn away from this and all other sins. But still they insist that God will not punish them for this homosexuality because God made them this way. Oh how foolish they are, they cover their ears so they can't hear the word of God, They cover their eyes so they can't understand Gods word. God will have the last word.

Isaiah 3:9 The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide [it] not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.



A question has been asked. "Why am I or others including priests, politicians, celebrities and almost anyone in all walks of life GAY! (prefer homosexuality)??" This is a very good question and one that deserves an answer. Part of the answer has already been given above, part will be given below. We all desire love. There are many who never try homosexual acts, some who try it and then they turn away from it for one reason or another, some try it once, like it and then Satan will draw them back to it over and over again. Many times it starts in childhood, it feels good. Sometimes it starts later in life, it feels good.

One person who lives a homosexual life style can, and will, introduce many, many others to this lifestyle. As they go through life they will reach positions to responsibility and power. A priest that practices homosexuality, because of his position, influences thousands of people, the same goes for each of the categories listed in the question. Once the general population starts accepting it as a normal sex act, then this sin will grow like a snowball rolling down a mountain side covered with snow. The children will then be taught that it is Ok to do this sin and there will be no more shame attached to it. Satan will dance with Glee. The shame was there to start with because those performing this sinful act knew that it was wrong. The verses below will give a good answer to the question, that is, if someone wants truth instead of lies. But the last words of the question, I think, says it all. PREFER Homosexuality. That is the key word, the real truth behind every homosexual in the world. They practice homosexuality because they PREFER it, not because they were born that way!!!! For God does not condemn what He make, He only condemns what Satan does and what leads others to do.

Jeremiah 23:11 For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith the LORD.

Jeremiah 23:12 Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery [ways] in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them, [even] the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.

Jeremiah 23:13 And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.

Jeremiah 23:14 I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrha.

Ezekiel explains why Sodom was destroyed. And why many other nations and peoples were and will be destroyed. The answer is really simple. They committed abominations before God. They refused to obey God. They thumbed their noses at God, They laughed at God, said to God, you don't have any power, so why should I listen to you.

But God Does Have Power and at the end, it will be God's way, not yours.

Ezekiel 16:49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fullness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.

Ezekiel 16:50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw [good].

God has given warnings throughout the Bible, which is God's Word to us. Because you have had those warnings and refuse to listen, your fate before God will be worse than anyone who lived the sins at Sodom and Gomorrha.

Matthew 10:14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

Matthew 10:15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

The Book of Romans tells us of what happens to almost everyone who practices homosexuality. As we said before and as God's Word says, If you turn away from it and repent that God will forgive you. However, Romans tells us the usual path of one who starts down the road of homosexuality.

Romans 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified [him] not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Romans 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Romans 1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Romans 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Romans 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Romans 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

Romans 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Romans 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

Romans 1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

Romans 1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

Romans 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Once God turns you over to a reprobate mind to believe the lie, then you are lost, you will not come back to God, God will not have anything more to do with you. For as the last verse says, you know that what you are doing is wrong, and deserve the second death, but you quit caring, you challenge God. You will always loose. Be very careful that you repent before God, before you reach the point of being turned over to a reprobate mind. Those of you who have read this far, have not yet been thrown away by God. You still have time to repent, to return to God, to leave your life of homosexuality. You can be cured of committing this sin as has been others before you. (as you will see in 1 Corinthians below). Nobody says that it is easy, Satan will be attacking you with everything that he has, trying to make you fall. But when you fall, repent and call out to Jesus Christ who will pick you back up again. Satan will never tempt you with something that you have never done.

1 Corinthians 6:10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Note the classes of people that will not enter heaven. Homosexuality is also fornication, (fornication is any two unmarried persons who have sex together; two men or two women can not be married in the eyes of God), but even so, a practicing homosexual (gay - man or woman) is specifically listed here "abusers of themselves with mankind".

1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Here we have scriptural proof that you, as a practicing homosexual can be healed of the practice by God, if you go before Him and ask for His help. Paul points out above that some of them at Corinth had been fornicators, and abusers of themselves with mankind (and such were some of you). But that they had been washed clean (by the Blood of Jesus Christ), Sanctifies by God. They had been forgiven, which will give you entrance into heaven. Their sins were washed away, God promised to never mention those sins to them again. (see Ezekiel chapters 18; and 33)

1 Corinthians 6:13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body [is] not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.

1 Corinthians 6:14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.

1 Corinthians 6:15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make [them] the members of an harlot? God forbid.

1 Corinthians 6:16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.



You can not be a real Christian and still practice homosexuality. As a Christian your body is the dwelling place for Jesus and the Holy Spirit of God. Would you ask Jesus to go down on someone with you??? To be joined with you and the other person in this sinful act??? You know by God's Word that Jesus would not, so why would you ever ask Him to do that??

1 Corinthians 6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

Below is given an example. The term "rose up to play" has a meaning of wild sexual party where anything and everything is done. Men with women, women with men, men with men, women with women. Didn't matter if anyone was married or not, if it felt good they did it. And as we see below, it so angered God that He struck down to death 23,000 men and women on that one day, for their acts of fornication, homosexuality. This being true, why would you think that God will pat you on the back and wink at you when you perform the sin of homosexuality when His word tells you that when they did it, that he put to death 23,000 for doing it?

Colossians points out to us that fornication, which covers homosexuality, is also Idolatry!!!

Colossians 3:5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

Colossians 3:6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:



2nd Peter and Jude points out that Sodom and Gomorrha was an example of what will happen to those who will not follow the Will and Commands of God to live a godly life and to stay away from fornication and homosexual practices.

2 Peter 2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned [them] with an overthrow, making [them] an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;



Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Jude 1:8 Likewise also these [filthy] dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.

Several verses in the Book of Revelation, warns us and reminds us that those who do abominable things shall not enter into heaven. Again we see the term "dogs" being applied here. Remember, we said above that the dogs above and here are referring to male prostitutes. For those who insist on practicing these abominations there is only Hell and the Lake of Fire which is the second Death.

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither [whatsoever] worketh abomination, or [maketh] a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Revelation 22:15 For without [are] dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

And so we finish here. I beg any homosexual who has read this far to go before God and repent, asking God to help you to leave this sinful life, to give you the grace and power to turn your back on homosexuality.

This book gives a very detailed analysis of exactly what the Bible says about this subject. It includes the most common objections as well. A good read.

If your post is directed at my comment, then I state the following.. I couldn't agree more. That is why I stated IF... And, the only reason I have mentioned homosexuality is because that is the topic of the thread. I was stunned that (so far) there is 100% concensus on the matter and was just highlighting that 15 to zero is impressive.

As such, if the thread would have been a poll about drugs/theft/lying, I would have substituted these words with the word 'homosexuality' to express my astonishment as to the results of the poll, so far.

Well.....thanks for your votes, i must say i'm "very" supprized it is 19 to zero i thought the yes vote would be just above the no vote. I believe homosexuality is like any other sin that blocks people from God. I noticed on other parts of the forum many "Christians" are in support of gay marriages and claimed the bible is somewhat "unclear" on homosexuality being a sin. I was getting worried and was rather shocked. But people seem to divided on this forum.

I agree.... As Christians we are to let them know it is a sin like any other sin, in a non judgmental way. But i have seen many Christians on the open forums encourage others that homosexuals are true Christians and it not a sin to participate in those things, That God is all a about love, so sin doesn't matter. Where is the faith?
