Hi, there seems to be a lot of Christians who believe homosexuality is not a sin, I have allway's believed it is according to the scriptures below. For those that believe it is not a sin, i would like to hear your translation of these scriptures. Until then, this sounds pretty clear to me

Let us first understand what God thinks about homosexuality, as God tells us, not as we invented. The Book of Leviticus warns us that homosexuality is an abomination before Him. The dictionary explains Abomination as "great hared and disgust; a loathing, disgusting", in words that we can understand, it is so distasteful that it would make you want to throw up. Therefore, God gives a direct command. "Thou SHALL NOT!!" then God gives another command concerning those who practice homosexuality, "They shall be PUT TO DEATH!!" I believe that these two verses (as well as others that we will look at later) puts to rest, and shows to be false, the statements by some that God made them that way. The Book of Genesis shows us that when God created everything including man that He pronounced all of it to be good, now here we are told by God that homosexuality in not good, therefore homosexuality could only have come from Satan who brought sin into the world.
Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
The following verse shows us that all fornicators (of which homosexuality is a form of) and those who are abusers of themselves with mankind (homosexuality) can not enter into heaven. If they will not repent and turn away from the sin of homosexuality, they will go into the Lake of Fire, which is the Second Death.
1 Corinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
Man has been committing this sin since before the flood. Please note what happened to Noah, when he got drunk, in Genesis 9:22, 24-25 . While this does not say specifically that Ham performed a homosexual act on Noah, it is clear that Ham did more than just look at his father. Since Ham had been blessed by God, Noah placed a curse on Ham's son Canaan.
Genesis 9:22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren outside.
Genesis 9:24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.
Genesis 9:25 And he said, cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
Now let us have a look at the story of God destroying Sodom and Gomorrha with brimstone and fire and His reason for doing it. We start with God and two angels coming to Abraham to tell Abraham what God will do. God explains to Abraham why He, God , is telling Abraham what is about to happen. This is a long story but is best placed here in its' eternity.
Genesis 18:16 And the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way.
Genesis 18:17 And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;
Genesis 18:18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
Genesis 18:19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
Genesis 18:20 And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrha is great, and because their sin is very grievous;
The sin being committed in Sodom is so distasteful to God that He is going to destroy all of the people and their cities because of their sins of homosexuality. (we will see in a few more verses that virtually all of the people commit the sin of homosexuality and see nothing wrong).
Genesis 18:21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.
Genesis 18:22 And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.

Abraham begins to beg for the lives of the righteous, those who live there but do not do the sin of homosexuality.

Genesis 18:25 That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

We can see here the mercy of God in the above verses. God agrees to spare all of them if there are even 10 people in these cities who do not commit the sin of homosexuality. But God knows that there will not be even 10. They have all accepted this act as Ok to do. Look around you today in America. The Gay community, the homosexuals, are not satisfied to perform their abominable acts in private, but are actively trying to convert everyone else to try their lifestyle and to become as one of them. They will lead this nation to the same fate as happened to Sodom. As a by the way, it is because of the perverted homosexual passions of those who lived in Sodom that gives the name of Sodomy to any homosexual act.

The above verse shows us just how prevalent this sin was in Sodom. From children to old men, from all parts of the city. They all came to the house of Lot. There were so many of them that they were able to completely encircle the house so that none could leave without being caught by them.

They knew that two strangers had come into town and they wanted to rape them, each having a turn. Sexual desire run amuck. You say that it isn't that way here? Well we are on the way to that point again. The term " know them" is used through out the bible as having sex with that person (example genesis 4:1, 25)
Genesis 19:6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,
Genesis 19:7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.
