I see God's Word as spiritual. Meaning it is deep and full and even hidden. This is why we have the Spirit of Truth to lead and guide us into all truth.
Is God's Word a progressive Word (capital letters on Word both times) so do you mean is Christ progressive? He has said He has finished His work. Yet what is being accomplished in us is progressive

Colossians 3:10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.

that is from the renewing of the mind to take on the mind of Christ within oneself Romans 12:1-3

Much of what is termed the letter of the law is legalism and not spiritual so therefore there is a progression much like from law to grace is a progression or justified fully to sanctified fully. We all must come into the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4:13

God's word to His people does not change but in our depth of understanding, in our humanness, it may appear so, both within the individual and within society.
