Is faith in God a responsibility that one should fulfill? Or, is faith a gift of grace? Perhaps faith is a matter of both responsibility and grace?
Who Is A Faithful And Wise Servant?
Luke 11:
9 Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I think not.
10 So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, We are unprofitable servants.
We have done what was our duty to do.
The Gift of the Spirit Enables Righteous Worship
1 Corinthians 12:3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God
calls Jesus accursed, and
no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.
The True Gift Enables Those Whosoever Desires; To Please Him
Romans 12:
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God,
that you present your bodies
a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that you may prove what
is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Thus, Fulfilling The Prophetic Word
Luke 1:
74 To grant us that we,
Being delivered from the hand of our enemies,
Might serve Him without fear,
75 In holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life.
