    As it relates to the tree of life .... who is Christ. Our heart is where soul and spirit commune with Him.

    Christ is The Door (back) [and firstborn among many brethren]...to Life that Adam lost/was blinded from 'seeing' in the garden...

    What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
    It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

    I know nothing about where you get analogies like back door representing Jesus. Analogies that the bible uses are scriptural but that is not. Eating of the tree of life is spiritual not soulish. I think that's a belief of only body and soul representing the person rather than body soul and spirit.

    In fact just following into that enmeshment of analogies I have stated something that doesn't have biblical proof and that's that the tree of life is Christ.Even tho I believe it is that is purely speculation and therefore debatable because the bible does not contain those words. I try very hard not to use unbiblical terms.
    “In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and of the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.” --Revelation 22:2

    So Jesus said to them again, "Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.

    The fall happened in the garden and we are being reconciled back to the Father and all that the first Adam lost access to...The Way (back to that eternal (without end or beginning) Life is IN Christ... The Door (back to the beginning...Alpha and Omega)...Christ...the lamb slain since the foundation of the world...

    I have not said what you think...

    Symbolism/typology of the bible is something that I've studied 30+ yrs yet I can understand only some of the analogies used on this forum. Thanks for the clarification.

    The promise of entering in...to the marriage feast (prepared by the father as opposed to the woman (who is a picture of our soul journey/process taking place within), or through the gate of The City, or the holy place...which are the same spiritual truth. EDIT: should read holy of holies...

    for through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father

    I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but through me.

    Which is the same truth as entering His rest...reclining at the table being served...no longer labouring in the field...so yes.

    He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

    Hebrews 4:1-10
    1 Therefore we must be wary that, while the promise of entering his rest remains open, none of you may seem to have come short of it. 2 For we had good news proclaimed to us just as they did. But the message they heard did them no good, since they did not join in with those who heard it in faith. 3 For we who have believed enter that rest, as he has said, “As I swore in my anger, ‘They will never enter my rest!’” And yet God’s works were accomplished from the foundation of the world. 4 For he has spoken somewhere about the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all his works,” 5 but to repeat the text cited earlier: “They will never enter my rest!” 6 Therefore it remains for some to enter it, yet those to whom it was previously proclaimed did not enter because of disobedience. 7 So God again ordains a certain day, “Today,” speaking through David after so long a time, as in the words quoted before, “O, that today you would listen as he speaks! Do not harden your hearts.” 8 For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken afterward about another day. 9 Consequently a Sabbath rest remains for the people of God. 10 For the one who enters God’s rest has also rested from his works, just as God did from his own works

    He had a plan from the beginning...and that revelation (in the mirror) will have no shadow or dimness in His Day/Light...a perfect son.

    "For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers."

    as an gospel that did not get accepted into the official canon of scriptures said "the kingdom of God is in you and is outside you" ....something like that. God has no image (well duh he does but he is also greater than what is revealed). carl jung only talked about the image of God, not God.

    John 5:37 (YLT)
    `And the Father who sent me Himself hath testified concerning me; ye have neither heard His voice at any time, nor His appearance have ye seen;

    John 6:45-48 (YLT)
    it is having been written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God; every one therefore who heard from the Father, and learned, cometh to me; not that any one hath seen the Father, except he who is from God, he hath seen the Father. `Verily, verily, I say to you, He who is believing in me, hath life age-during; I am the bread of the life;

    I can't imagine what the soul of Jesus went through, he might have had the most religious experience that humanity has ever seen.

    John 8:38 (YLT)
    I--that which I have seen with my Father do speak, and ye, therefore, that which ye have seen with your father--ye do.'

    John 14:5-11 (YLT)
    Thomas saith to him, `Sir, we have not known whither thou goest away, and how are we able to know the way?' Jesus saith to him, `I am the way, and the truth, and the life, no one doth come unto the Father, if not through me; if ye had known me, my Father also ye would have known, and from this time ye have known Him, and have seen Him.' Philip saith to him, `Sir, shew to us the Father, and it is enough for us;' Jesus saith to him, `So long time am I with you, and thou hast not known me, Philip? he who hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how dost thou say, Shew to us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father is in me? the sayings that I speak to you, from myself I speak not, and the Father who is abiding in me, Himself doth the works; believe me, that I am in the Father, and the Father in me; and if not, because of the works themselves, believe me.

    of course one of the chief works was the bible.

    there is the Logos and then there is the individual soul. the Logos is what guides the souls to the Father. the humble virgin soul, mary, is who leads to her Son the Logos. the harlot sits on the beast and the beast hates her.

    John 10:32-36 (YLT)
    Jesus answered them, `Many good works did I shew you from my Father; because of which work of them do ye stone me?' The Jews answered him, saying, `For a good work we do not stone thee, but for evil speaking, and because thou, being a man, dost make thyself God.' Jesus answered them, `Is it not having been written in your law: I said, ye are gods? if them he did call gods unto whom the word of God came, (and the Writing is not able to be broken,) of him whom the Father did sanctify, and send to the world, do ye say--Thou speakest evil, because I said, Son of God I am?

    you can either believe one of the most profound revelations within the christian religion - that the Son of God is fully God and fully human. or you can reject it. belief is the wholeness of your being and a spirit, not mere thoughts. and it's gonna keep growing and growing and growing because the Lord gives her her life.

    this is one of my favorite psalms.

    Psalms 82:1-8 (YLT)
    --A Psalm of Asaph. God hath stood in the company of God, In the midst God doth judge. Till when do ye judge perversely? And the face of the wicked lift up? Selah. Judge ye the weak and fatherless, The afflicted and the poor declare righteous. Let the weak and needy escape, From the hand of the wicked deliver them. They knew not, nor do they understand, In darkness they walk habitually, Moved are all the foundations of earth. I--I have said, `Gods ye are , And sons of the Most High--all of you, But as man ye die, and as one of the heads ye fall, Rise, O God, judge the earth, For Thou hast inheritance among all the nations!

    Yet the human mind creates many images of who they perceive Him to be...try to fit Him in a box, but He is limitless, infinite and all in all...

    for he whom God sent, the sayings of God he speaketh; for not by measure doth God give the Spirit;

    And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

    Oh! What Jesus must have seen, the full glory and love of God...the whole beginning and end that has no end...that takes us full circle back to the beginning...nothing short of glorious...and Father keeps growing the picture of what we can see ...such endless depth, breadth, width and height ...
