I for one admittedly am not a KJV only believer, in fact, I think there are many problems with the KJV and no one translation is 100% perfect, though the true word of God can be found in many versions.
All that being said, one question about the KJV that I have is why is the Spirit called the a "Ghost" as far as I can tell only the KJV and the AKJV have this reading while all other readings translate the word Spirit.
Below is a link of what other versions translate Matthew 12:31 as.
Matthew 12:31 And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
I read the KJV as a kid and thought nothing of it but now as an adult I find it odd that only the KJV calls the Spirit by another name. Is there a reason for this I'm not aware of? Maybe it's nothing and I'm over analyzing things I'm not really sure. Anyone have any insight on this matter?
