Please pray for Christians who are returning to their communities in Iraq after fleeing to escape Islamic State. Pray that God will give them fresh vision and purpose.

Praise God that the churches in Kurdistan are growing. Thank Him for the continued commitment of the Kurdistan Government to welcome and support persecuted minorities and to uphold religious liberty.

Pray for Release partners in Iraqi Kurdistan who help Christians reach out to refugees of all faiths. Pray that Kurdistan can remain a safe haven for Christian refugees.

The BBC reports some 10,000 Islamic State fighters are regrouping in Iraq. Ask God to give His peace and protection to Christians in the region.

Every May we encourage the church in the UK to take part in the Great Outdoors Church Service by gathering in the open air to stand with persecuted Christians. It helps us to remember those who are forced to meet secretly or outdoors because they have been forced from their churches. As we are all restricted to our homes and unable to meet together this year we are asking you simply to open your front or back door today, May 24, and take a step outside to pray for our persecuted family some time between 9am and 9pm (complying with any government social distancing restrictions in place at the time). If you are on social media please post about what you are doing using the hashtag #AllOut4God. We’d love to see your prayers and comments, and even photos or video of how you are responding.
