I think that was a pretty significant statement which we'll probably hear a lot of throughout the election campaign. I think it'll serve to be a heavy chain for the Democratic Party to wear. What actually did happen to all that money Obama gave? Did it go to help the Iranian people? Or merely to build up their war machine.
Yes billions of American dollars. Some Euros too.

I guess you think we should have let Hitler alone.

"Sell your cloak, and buy a sword"
We did leave Hitler alone. As for "Sell your cloak, buy a sword", the fact you're quoting that shows you have no clue what context was for that. Just so you know, when the sword was used Christ chastised Peter for using it and undid the damage immediately. But you prefer Dick who says "gotta keep fighting, forever if necessary, with other people's lives". You're very brave to put other people's lives on the line!

You can't take the "peacemaker" statement by God to apply in absolutely EVERY situation. All throughout scripture you also have God insisted aggressive action at time to be taken. So many, many scriptures bear this out so it's a matter of context.
I'm not applying it to EVERY situation. But it applies to this one.

The minor detail hawks don't want you to know:

It's called paying down the national debt. You know...those Federal Treasury notes held by other countries, such as China, Japan,...and Iran? The U.S. owed Iran debt dating back to before 1979, when the embassy was taken hostage. That debt has accumulated more than a little interest over time.

Instead the U.S. wants to go, "Iran bad." "Iran terrorists." "They did this-and-this." "We don't owe them anything." They will probably do the same to China before long.

Who else was praying last night that things wouldn't escalate? Thank God. I think Trump delivered a good sober message in response to Iranian aggression. Turning the other cheek in this matter demonstrates his excellency as commander in chief.

LOL Trump didn't turn the other cheek. Trump is the one who slapped.

In response to many things Iran has been doing over the last several months that were provocative.

Are we supposed to just stand by and let an aggressive regime do whatever they want? For how long? Is any response uncalled for in your view?

He murdered an Iranian in cold blood and then victim-blamed.

Not only have you got it backwards, but you just contradicted yourself.

You do realize why we froze Iranian assets in 1979?

None. The whole thing is over now.

This looks like a deliberate miss and cold calculation by the Iranians. A strong reaction would have allowed the US to dismantle their nuclear programme by force. In fact this is more scary than if they had just flown off the handle. Like a cheated wife that goes quiet rather than erupt as usual. Kind of wonder if she will poison , stab, shoot, demolish finances … the possibilities are endless. The assassination of this Quds monster is breeding nightmares.

By a Democrat? And then unfrozen in 1981? Or does the U.S. just get to conveniently say, "You guys are terrorists. We don't have to pay you back anymore. We have nukes and you don't. Want to do something about it?"

Once we pick up the pieces of the missiles and fully recover the duds we can box them up and have our respective ambassadors return these pieces to China and Russia.
The Chinese are alleged to have sold missile technology to Iran. Am not sure what type missiles Russia sold them, except they at least sold Iran an antiaircraft missile system. As interested as Russia is in Iran, Iraq and Syria, I assume the Russians received much business from Iran. I am not an international arms trade expert. I am not sure if Iranian hackers could have stolen missile technology. They tore up Saudi oil facilities with high level accuracy.

They did take our embassy and held our people hostage. That was just the beginning.

Being removed from majority opinions held by Americans, the majority of whom never even got a passport and get all their information from their media of choice, does not make it removed from reality.

Perhaps you guys should get yourselves out of the country more and see what "reality" even is.
Been there, found the majority of Europeans divorced from reality and thought Obama was the Messiah and that his wife was akin to Mary. No thanks.

Considering it's a lie, I hope it gets repeated by conservatives so that it can get shredded by their opponents. How do people believe these lies? It can only be a willingness to believe the lies; hard to imagine anyone's that ignorant.
