HI all. Never done anything like this before so please be patient.
My name is Bill. I can't say for sure when I was saved because it was a process as opposed to an event but I would guess that 8 years is about right. I'm in music ministry. I've been in a Christian rock band, on praise teams, led music numerous times for Cursillo in Mass, and also have played solo around the area.
I've been through a ton of changes in the last 2 months. My kids have moved out, my band has gone into hiatus, and the company I worked for closed its doors the other day. These are the major changes.
The "funny" thing is that I've never been so pumped up and on fire. I was talking to a friend last night after bible study about my situation and she said in an offhand way, "Go into ministry". I blew that idea off right away. On the way home I started to think about it and got really excited. How cool would it be to work for the Lord full time! As a 53 year old, unemployed truck driver, this seems impossible at first. God would have to pull off more than a few miracles but I think He can handle it
Any ideas on where and how to start? I got that whole I'm not worthy thing going but really, who is worthy? I'm committed to do whatever He wants and can't wait to see what He asks for next!
Looking forward to getting to know you all.
God's PEACE to you
