CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I would go in a heartbeat if given the opportunity. So much of what we take for granted came from there.

only to canada and i love it there. so pretty and in three years i plan to really do some traveling outside of the states. france, italy, and england are on my agenda. and perhaps next year my friend and i will take in the sights of barbados, cancun, or st maaarten.

I love them both. i love how you can scoop a cat up and set them on your lap and you can cuddle them. I love how my dog thinks hes still little enough to sit on my lap yet hes too big. um, i guess i will go with the dog because they are very loyal and very protective of the family and scare intruders away.

i didnt get me license till i was 21 my mother doesnt drive so she couldnt teach me and my daddy didnt offer. :^)

the longest road trip ive ever been on was from ny to arizona and back. went there on a bus. came back on a train. i enjoyed the train ride much more than the bus. the train offered more comfort and was fun.

Pretoria to Cape town, about 1500km, by car. Not very far compared to what people travel in Canada!
