He said the two officials were "sufficiently concerned that it was an extraordinary thing that they took care to write it down, but not sufficiently concerned that they reported it."

Coats is scheduled to testify at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday before the Senate Armed Services Committee.

Rogers is slated testify at 3:30 p.m. before the House Armed Services Committee.

Trump asked top intel officials to push back publicly on Russia probe

Sounds very much like the type of memo written by Comey but not reported as a concern.

They should push back. Valuable time is wasted in an investigation leading nowhere.

Leading nowhere? Last week we hadn't even heard that Trump had tried to get intelligence community leaders to interfere in an ongoing investigation about his admin's ties to Russia. Now we have multiple sources reporting it along with at least one person in the White House being named a person of interest in the investigation.
