You don't get a verbal no from god. All you get is a "not yes" which is indistinguishable from complete silence. You still fail to explain to me how an answer of "no" from god is any different from getting no answer at all.

You are assigning meaning to those events in the same way that astrologists assign meaning to zodiac signs.

I really don't see anything remarkable about the fact that you had a girlfriend who came into some money which allowed you to take the Hawaii trip you've always wanted. And $20k would get a large portion of the populace out of debt.
Well, life is filled with lessons from our experiences. One gets resolution, closure in a sense to a no answer. Eventually you realize that what you asked for is not something that is good for you. The fact is, you can't see or understand my life or perception of the Christian. I see the world differently than you and this is precisely why you don't see that God is the Creator, Who has provided for and taken care of us all along. I look back into my life and realize that He has orchestrated these events and people in my life to bring me to a moment of time when He revealed Himself to me. You can't see it, I understand. I could share my testimony with you but it would be a waste of time. So I must move on now. Take care.

For the sake of obedience?

Obedience out of love for God's act of grace in choosing to redeem, reconcile and adopt is a beautiful thing.

You obey because you love. Got it.

Thanks by to Yhwh !
In fact, truth, and life's experience,
if men say it,
it is a lie. )This includes all religious leaders almost).

Does the Bible agree ? No. The other way around. The Bible says this.
I agree with the Bible.
"All men are liars"
"Yhwh looked over the whole earth to see if anyone sought Him, and there was none; no one."
"Everyone is wretchedly unrighteous, each one filthy in sin".
"Society is pernicious" (not part of society; all of society). Galatians.
Pernicious=vile wicked fatal deadly death-dealing sin... .. ...
"After one-third(billions) of mankind DIED,
THE REST of men REFUSED to stop worshiping demons" .....

See..... this world's not all that great a vacation spot !

All men are liars?

Yet the bible is written by men. The bible is therefore written by liars. Are you sure you want that line of argument?

This was the second lesson from Yhwh I learned,
without which I would have possibly remained dead in my sins and trespasses.
Thanks be to YHWH FOREVER HALLELUYAH ! :)

That 'lesson' wasn't delivered by a god. It was delivered by a man. And, according to you, "all men are liars".

So where does that leave you?

ADMIN HAT ON

I cleaned up the thread due to flaming. But I'm also closing it permanently because it's become a General Apologetics thread, which is not allowed in this area.
