Peace unto you.

The “holy angels” are the holy messages of the Lord who is come to give us an understanding.

He interprets the Scriptures (the words of the biblical saints) to our ears and we are to be quick to hear and slow to speak.

Whoever is ashamed of Him and His words in “this adulterous and sinful generation”, of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the “holy angels”….His WORDS.

We are to hear His words and glorify the Father in heaven as He comes in the glory of His Father.

“My WORDS” = the “holy ANGELS”. He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels....His words (His messages) that He sends out to our ears and hearts.

Mark 8:38 KJV
(38) Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

Let us not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord but be partakers of the afflictions of the good news according to the power of God who saves us. Our own church “countrymen” shall not believe in His testimony and will persecute those who will.

2 Timothy 1:8-13 KJV
(8) Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
(9) Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

He has abolished (rendering it idle) death in the here and now and has brought life and immortality (undecaying of the mortal body) to light through the good news. We are not to be ashamed of His testimony of these things when others shall persecute us for believing this is so.

(10) But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
(11) Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.
(12) For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
(13) Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

We are to hear His voice….His testimony…and rejoice at what we hear.

John 3:29-36 KJV
(29) He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

He must increase and we must decrease as His thoughts and ways are higher than our own religious thoughts and ways.

(30) He must increase, but I must decrease.

He that comes from above is above all. Earthly men will speak out in their earthly wisdom (envy, strife, contentions, covetousness) against His testimony. His testimony will not conform to what carnal men have been preaching. We must hear and OVERCOME our wrath. Earthy, natural men will not receive His testimony as it is spiritually discerned.

(31) He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.
(32) And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.

He that will receive His testimony has set to his seal that God is true.

(33) He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.

The words of God = the holy angels sent out to our ears. They are the "reapers" who will divide the believers from the unbelievers in the churches of men.

(34) For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
(35) The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
(36) He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

The earthly man will not receive the things of the Spirit of God for they are foolishness to him neither CAN HE KNOW THEM. The natural man will continue to receive the words of men that men preach in their carnal understanding and will reject what the Spirit is saying as it does not conform to what men are preaching in their church.

1 Corinthians 2:12-14 KJV
(12) Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
(13) Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
(14) But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

There is a “generation” that will not listen. We must depart from their company.

“This adulterous and sinful generation” is defined in Proverbs 30 and describes the state of the churches (gatherings) of men today. They will not hear His words…His testimony… and so we must save ourselves from this crooked generation (Acts 2:40).

Proverbs 30:11-15 KJV
(11) There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother.

They are pure in their own eyes and yet not washed from their filthiness as they will continue to stubbornly preach things that they ought not…the doctrines and commandments of men…for money’s sake. They will not receive the words of the Lord who comes to give us an understanding. Instead, they will lean upon their own understanding and reject what He says…His testimony. They will resist the Spirit in the hardness of their unbelieving hearts and speak evil with their mouths.

(12) There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.
(13) There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up.
(14) There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.

And their message is always: “GIVE, GIVE”. They are minding earthly things as they preach in order to get their earthly needs met: what to eat, what to drink, what to wear. This is all we ever hear in their congregations where there is no knowledge of God found.

(15) The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give, give. There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four things say not, It is enough:

We must come out from among them and be separate. What do we have in common with those who will hear His words and will not believe in them as they continue to remain in their churches (in the “graves”) where men are preaching themselves as they handle the Word of God deceitfully for dishonest gain? They will seek to remain among the “graves” of their churches rather than come out from among them.

Why seek the living among those who are “dead” in their trespasses and sins who think that they are pure in their own eyes and yet are not washed from their filthiness?

They preach themselves for money’s sake and preach in their churches that we have to “die and go to heaven” when Jesus IS RISEN now so that we may have His eternal life NOW in this earth. Jesus WAS dead and IS ALIVE NOW forevermore…and so we are to have His life now when we keep the death of our Lord in our bodies so that His life appears in our mortal flesh.

2 Corinthians 4:5-11 KJV
(5) For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
(6) For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
(7) But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
(8) We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
(9) Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
(10) Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
(11) For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

And again, He that raised up Christ (who WAS dead and IS RISEN…IS ALIVE NOW forevermore) from the dead shall also enliven our MORTAL (subject to death body) bodies by His Spirit that dwells in us. This is a here-and-now thing and not after we “die and go to heaven” as universally preached by those who are preaching themselves for money in order to get their earthly needs met (what to eat, drink and wear). They are minding earthly things and cannot understand that the good news is for the here and now. The “god” of this world….their belly….has blinded their minds lest they understand what the good news is for the here and now.

Romans 8:11-14 KJV
(11) But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
(12) Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

Let us hear the Spirit of Truth and deaden the deeds of the body. Let us live according to the Spirit...especially when we hear the Spirit speaking to us today.

(13) For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
(14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Why seek the Living among the dead? Why keep their covenant with death and their agreement with the grave? Let us fear God and hear and be found in meekness....they "bowed down their faces to the earth"

Luke 24:4-6 KJV
(4) And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:
(5) And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?

He is not there but IS RISEN.

(6) He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,

Why seek the living among those who are “dead” in trespasses and sins and preach what they do not understand with stammering lips?

The “wizards” peep and mutter as they preach (without understanding) the Word of God deceitfully for unjust gain. Why go to their “church” and recognize their authority in such matters of God when they do not have any understanding?

Isaiah 8:19-22 KJV
(19) And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?

To the law (the law of Christ: have love for one another) and to the “testimony” of Jesus. If they do not speak according to this saying, it is because there is NO LIGHT in them as they have no understanding.

(20) To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

The wicked shall not understand as they are driven to darkness.

(21) And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward.
(22) And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and they shall be driven to darkness.

We must depart from those who are called “brothers” but are covetous as they preach things that they ought not be (the doctrines and commandments of men) for money’s sake. They have no understanding of the Scriptures because of their covetousness hidden within their hearts. They have a stammering tongue that we cannot understand.

Isaiah 33:18-19 KJV
(18) Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?
(19) Thou shalt not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue, that thou canst not understand.

Those who are preaching themselves have the good news hid as the god of this world (the belly that they are preaching for….serving for as they are minding the earthly things) has blinded their minds of those that really do not believe in the testimony of Jesus who has abolished death in the here and now and has brought life and immortality to light through the good news. They will not be found renouncing the hidden things of dishonesty as they will continue to handle the Word of God deceitfully for pay.

2 Corinthians 4:1-6 KJV
(1) Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
(2) But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
(3) But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
(4) In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Some will hear His testimony and not believe and will give themselves over unto lasciviousness to work all uncleanness with greediness. They will hear and speak evil towards what they hear because they do not want to give up preaching for a paycheck. They will give themselves over to their wrath and speak evil because their hearts will go after their covetousness.

Ephesians 4:17-23 KJV
(17) This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
(18) Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
(19) Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

(20) But ye have not so learned Christ;

If we hear Him and are taught by Him (as the truth is in Jesus), we are to put off the behavior of the old man who is contentious in his envy and strife.

(21) If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
(22) That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
(23) And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

We are to hear His voice and “awake” from the former behavior of the old man who did not know anything and arise from the “dead” so that Christ shall give us light…His knowledge. Those who will be found loving their “sleep” shall not understand. They will not arise from their sleep and be satisfied with the bread of heaven. They will not enter into His knowledge but will remain “outside” it.

Ephesians 5:13-20 KJV
(13) But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
(14) Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
(15) See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
(16) Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
(17) Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Instead of being drunk with the wine of wrath, we are to be filled with the Spirit…drinking in what we hear the Spirit saying…..the living water.

(18) And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

We are to hear His voice and REJOICE within our hearts at what we hear and give thanks unto all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

(19) Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
(20) Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

The Lord comes to open up our minds to the understanding of the Scriptures through the Spirit. We are to hear His voice in the “tabernacle of the congregation” and be found doing His will (to have love for one another) rather than be found “drunk” on the wine of wrath where the wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God. Let us not be found “drinking wine”…wrath….when we go to hear His voice as He opens up our minds to His knowledge.

Leviticus 10:9-11 KJV
(9) Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations:

Men will be found behaving badly towards what they hear the Spirit saying in this coming time…..and those who will not hear and be found as obedient children (doing His will) are not found the children of God.

(10) And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;
(11) And that ye may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the LORD hath spoken unto them by the hand of Moses.

“Wine” is a mocker and strong drink is raging. Whoever does not bridle his tongue from speaking out in wrath deceives his own heart.

Proverbs 20:1 KJV
(1) Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

It is an honor for a man to cease from strife…..especially at the hearing of the Spirit of Truth.

“Meddling” = to be obstinate. Every fool will be found obstinate against what they hear. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. (1 Samuel 15:23).

Proverbs 20:3 KJV
(3) It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.

Wine is a mocker and strong drink is raging….whoever does not bridle his own tongue deceives his own heart. That man’s religion is vain….empty. We must overcome our wrath and be found a DOER of the work…..remembering to let brotherly love continue.

James 1:25-26 KJV
(25) But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
(26) If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

Whoever abides in the Lord will not speak evil against what they hear. They will not sin. Those who do speak out in wrath have not seen Him neither have known Him.

1 John 3:6-15 KJV
(6) Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
(7) Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

He that commits sin…speaking evil out in wrath against what they hear the Spirit saying… is of the devil.

(8) He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
(9) Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

IN THIS WAY are the children of God are manifest and the children of the devil: whosoever does not the righteousness of God is not of God neither is he that does not love his brother whom he has seen. How can one say that they love God whom they have not seen when they show hatred toward their brother whom they have seen?

(10) In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
(11) For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
(12) Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
(13) Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
(14) We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
(15) Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

We are to be swift to hear the Word of Truth and be slow to speak against what we hear…slow to wrath. The wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God.

James 1:18-22 KJV
(18) Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
(19) Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
(20) For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

We are to OVERCOME the wrath…laying apart all of the evil things that want to come out of our mouths at the hearing of the Word of Truth and receive with meekness the engrafted Word.

(21) Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
(22) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Those who will be found speaking evil shall not enter in to understand.

John 8:42-51 KJV
(42) Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

Why will they not understand His speech? Because they cannot hear His Word…His Saying: to have love for one another. If God is their Father, then they would be found loving those whom He sends out to speak His words.

(43) Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

The children of the devil will be found “killing” another with their evil speaking….prating against them with malicious words. Whoever hates his brother is a murderer and has no eternal life abiding in them. They will go in the way of Cain who hated his own brother.

(44) Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
(45) And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
(46) Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?

He that is of God hears God’s words. Those who will not hear them are not of God as they will go about “killing” another (who will speak the Word of truth) with their evil speaking rather than DO His will to have love for another.

(47) He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

The children of the devil will be found speaking evil of another…calling them “devils”…evil doers.

(48) Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?
(49) Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.

When we hear the Word of Truth spoken through the Spirit, we are to be found seeking God’s glory rather than our own. If we keep His saying (to have love for one another), we shall never see death in this earth.

(50) And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth.
(51) Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.

We that are found loving those brothers sent out by Him to speak His words shall pass from death unto life. If a man keep His Saying (Word), he shall never see death.

1 John 3:14-15 KJV
(14) We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
(15) Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him

His Word spoken in Truth (“faithfully”) is like a fire and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces. His Word spoken in Truth is powerful. Our hearts burn as we hear His voice open up the Scriptures to our hearing ears.

Jeremiah 23:28-32 KJV
(28) The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.
(29) Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

But the false prophets preach the Word of God deceitfully and use their tongues to say “He says” when He did not say it. Their words do not profit those who listen to them.

(30) Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.
(31) Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.

The false prophets who prophesy false dreams do not profit anyone that listens to them.

(32) Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.

The false prophets falsely prophesy “peace” in their midst (“I will give you assured peace in this place) in order to get people into their churches where there is no peace. They deceitfully preach the doctrines and commandments of men for money’s sake and many go to them. There is no knowledge in their gatherings.

There is no peace in their midst as the sword, famine and pestilence is found there. There are divisions…..envy and strife and hatred of one another. There is a “famine” of hearing the Word of God as the “shepherds” have no understanding. They are only literally feeding themselves as their congregations suffer spiritual starvation ….being fed “crumbs” only. There is sickness, decay and death in their midst.

Jeremiah 14:11-17 KJV
(11) Then said the LORD unto me, Pray not for this people for their good.
(12) When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not accept them: but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence.
(13) Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place.
(14) Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

They prophesy supposedly in His name….in His authority…when the LORD did not send them.

If one comes in his own authority, then the people will accept such a one. (John 5:43: I have come in my Father's name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him.)

(15) Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.
(16) And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword; and they shall have none to bury them, them, their wives, nor their sons, nor their daughters: for I will pour their wickedness upon them.

The false prophets falsely prophesy “peace”…they superficially heal the deadly blow by preaching “peace” where there is no peace.

(17) Therefore thou shalt say this word unto them; Let mine eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease: for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous blow.

The false prophets get their earthly needs met from those that they are deceiving as they fare “sumptuously every day”. Rather than being a servant they are being served by those whom they preach to.

They get paid to preach rather than work with their own hands in order to support their own necessities as commanded of the apostles of Christ who worked day and night in order not to be chargeable to any. The apostles of Christ did not hinder the gospel as they worked with their own hands for their own earthly needs (as Paul who was a tentmaker).

The true apostles (meaning SENT) of Christ minded the wealth of others and not their own. (2 Corinthians 4:5: For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.)

But not so with the rich pastors of the church who preach themselves as they come in their own “name”…their own authority….rather than the Lord’s.

Luke 16:19-21 KJV
(19) There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

Their congregations are as “Lazarus” which laid at the rich man's “gate”…their mouth…in order to get fed with “crumbs” that they are preaching.

There is a severe “famine” in their midst as there is no understanding of the good news. The Word of Truth is not being preached by them as the shepherds are only literally feeding themselves and not the flock of God.

(20) And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

The dogs come and lick the sores as they preach “peace” where there is no peace as the people are full of sores….envy, strife, hatred of one another, etc.

(21) And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

“Lazarus” means “God is my help”…as He mercifully helps us by sending His Son to speak to us in the Spirit so that we may know Him who is true.

Titus 3:2-8 KJV
(2) To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

We were once full of “sores” in the churches of men as we lived in them being foolish, disobedient, deceived (by false prophets who lead us astray from the Way of righteousness), serving many lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. When we forget to have love for one another, then the false prophets use their "power of darkness" to lead us astray from the Way of righteousness and into their church divisions where there is no peace among them.

(3) For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

But as “Lazarus” means “God is my helper”, the kindness and love of God our Savior appears toward us so that we may be saved by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit which He sheds on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior. It is not because of the so-called “works of righteousness” which we do in our churches (serving the carnal commandments of men) but according to His mercy that He saves us. We are to hear what the Spirit is saying and overcome our own religious thoughts and ways and be renewed.

(4) But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
(5) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

(6) Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
(7) That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

We must hear and BELIEVE. Believing is active. We must be careful to maintain good works and not be found sleeping when He comes to give us an understanding so that we may know Him who is true.

(8) This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

Like Lazarus, our “beggar” status dies as the Lord spiritually feeds us and we are carried away by the “angels” into Abraham’s bosom. We die to sin when we hear His voice as He sends out the “angels” …His words…to our hearing ears in order to gather us from every wind of doctrine that men deceitfully preach. The angels are the reapers as all shall hear His words and respond according to what is in their hearts. some will believe and do good while others shall hear and not believe and will do evil and be judged.

The “angels” are the words of the biblical saints as interpreted by Christ. We hear His voice and we are carried away from those who are deceiving us with their empty words…their good words and fair speeches that do not profit any that listen to them. We depart from their company as they will not believe.

Luke 16:
(22) And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

“Lazarus” dies to sin….blessed are the “dead” who die in the Lord. They keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus and shall have peace. They may REST from their labors.

Revelation 14:12-13 KJV
(12) Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
(13) And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

The righteous are taken away from the company of the rich pastors and their churches in order to take them away from the evil to come which shall come upon those who will hear His voice and not believe.

“Lazarus” was taken away from the company of the rich man and entered into a place of peace: Abraham’s bosom. Lazarus believed in the words of the Lord…as the “angels” carried him away into a place of peace.

The “rich man” will be in “hell’……the “unseen”…a dark place where there is no understanding.

The righteous are taken away from their churches and no man lays it to heart. None will “consider” as the wicked shall not understand being in “hell”….the “unseen” place of not understanding. They will think it “strange” that we shall no longer run with them after their church things and will speak evil of us….”flaming” us with their tongues. (1 Peter 4:4 Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you).

Isaiah 57:1-5 KJV
(1) The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

Lazarus shall have peace in the bosom of Abraham as those who curse us with their tongues shall be cursed. They will not have peace as they will be "tormented". the wicked shall not have peace.

We do not return evil for their evil so as not to be “hurt of the second death” which shall be experienced by those who will willfully sin after receiving the knowledge of the Truth. We are to die to sin and not render evil for their evil.

(2) He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.

But the rich man….the rich pastor…and those who will follow their evil deeds will speak evil of those who will depart their company. They will mock and make a “wide mouth” and “draw out the tongue” against the righteous who are taken away from their churches.

The “wide mouth” will be a “great gulf fixed” as their punishment for their evil shall not be remedied until they die from this earth. The rich man died (the second death) and was buried…meaning his judgment is final as there will be no more sacrifice for willful sins. They will persecute the righteous with evil speaking…and their tongue is a fire that sets them on fire of “hell”. They will be the children of transgression....a seed of falsehood.

(3) But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the harlot.
(4) Against whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make ye a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood,
(5) Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clifts of the rocks?

“Lazarus” shall have peace in the bosom of Abraham. “Lazarus” shall get out of his “country” and from his “kindred” and from his church father’s house unto a land that He will show us. We shall inherit this earth. We must also depart from the company of the unbelievers in their churches.

Genesis 12:1-5 KJV
(1) Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
(2) And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

He will curse those who curse us. The “rich man” and his followers will “flame” us for leaving as they will think it strange that we will no longer keep company with them in their churches. They will speak evil of us. They will persecute us which will bring them torment…no peace. We do not return evil for their evil which will bring them “torment”…no peace. The wicked shall not have peace.

(3) And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
(4) So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him:
and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

"Haran" means "parched" and "Canaan" means "to humble, subdue".

(5) And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.

The wicked shall not understand…being in “hell”…a place of not understanding. They will lift us their eyes looking for understanding. The wicked shall not have peace….as they will be in “torments”. Their fire shall be quenched... "Haran" = parched, dry.

Luke 16:
(23) And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

They shall persecute us so that our faith is tried by their "fire" that will come out of their mouths.

We are to be faithful unto His death…dying to sin…in the face of their evil speaking of us which will destroy them. If we overcome, we shall not be hurt of the second death which will be experienced by the unbelievers of the churches. Our faith shall be tried...a fiery trial by their persecutions as they "flame" us with their evil tongues speaking of us as "evil doers"... "devils"....etc.

Revelation 2:10-11 KJV
(10) Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
(11) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

“Lazarus” is not to think it strange concerning the “fiery trial” of those whom we leave behind in their churches. They will “flame” us with their tongues which shall try our faith.

1 Peter 4:11-19 KJV
(11) If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
(12) Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

We are to be faithful unto death…His death…as we are then made partakers of Christ’s sufferings. When His glory shall be revealed (His appearing life in our mortal flesh), we shall be glad also with exceeding joy. We shall be given a crown of life of which no man can take away our joy with their “flaming” of us.

(13) But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

We are to keep the sacrifice of the Lamb in the presence of their flaming of us which will torment those who will weary themselves to have us return evil for their evil. We shall have peace…for the spirit of glory and of God shall REST upon us. On the part of those who experience the “second death”, He is evil spoken of but on our part He is glorified if we keep His death in the face of their persecutions.

(14) If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

We shall not suffer hurt of the “second death” if we suffer as a Christian…a follower of Christ whom we follow in the “furnace” of their rage against us without harm. Let us not return evil for their evil and suffer as a "murderer" or as an evil doer.

(15) But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.
(16) Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
(17) For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
(18) And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

We must suffer their persecutions….the fire of the second death that comes out of their mouths…according to the will of God…committing the keeping to Him in well doing.

(19) Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

We shall not be hurt of the second death…the fire that will come out of the unbelievers of the churches we leave behind. We shall not bow down to their church things…their doctrines and commandments of men…their authority…their money gathering….and we shall be persecuted for it.

Daniel 3:20-30 KJV
(20) And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

We are to put on the whole armor of God in the evil day to put out their fire from hurting us.

(21) Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

Those who will flame us shall destroy themselves as the tongue is a fire that slays those who will speak evil of us.

The Hebrew names of those who were cast into the fire were Hananiah (חֲנַנְיָה), "Yah (i.e., Yahweh) is gracious", Mishael (מִישָׁאֵל), "Who is like God?" and Azariah (עֲזַרְיָה), "Yah has helped" (the meaning of LAZARUS)....

.....but they will call us by other names as they think we serve other gods as evil doers as Shadrach's name is possibly derived from Shudur Aku "Command of Aku (the moon god)", Meshach is probably a variation of Mi-sha-aku, meaning "Who is as Aku is?", and Abednego is either "Servant of the god Nebo/Nabu" or a variation of Abednergal, "servant of the god Nergal."

(22) Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
(23) And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
(24) Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.

We must follow in the footsteps of the Son of God and keep His Way so as not to be hurt of the second death...the burning fiery furnace of their mouths….their flaming of us with their evil speaking. They will call us "evil doers"..."devils"...followers of other gods.

We are not to return evil for their evil but be faithful unto His death and follow Him in the midst of the “fire”. The "second death" shall not hurt us if we are faithful unto His death and follow Him.

(25) He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
(26) Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.
(27) And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.
(28) Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.
(29) Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
(30) Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.

And if you be Christ's, then are you Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

But the “rich man” shall continue to follow after the flesh as he will weary himself in the persecution of “Lazarus” . He sees Abraham far off.

The rich pastor and the followers of his pernicious ways shall be tormented in the flame of their own tongue as “Lazarus” shall not return evil for his evil. If we speak evil back to those who will “flame” us with their evil speaking, then we “cool” their tongues. They will be tormented in the presence of the "Lamb"...the keeping of the dying of our Lord Jesus in our mortal bodies as we do not return evil for their evil.

Luke 16:
(24) And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
(25) But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

The “great gulf fixed” is the wide mouth that will not cease from speaking evil. The tongue shall not cease from their evil nor will their fire be quenched. There will be no more sacrifice for their willful sins as their judgment is fixed. There will be no remedy for their situation until they die from this earth.

(26) And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
(27) Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
(28) For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

They will not listen to the 2 witnesses as they will not do what they say.

(29) Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

This is the law and the prophets: do unto others as you would have them do to you.

Matthew 7:12-14 KJV
(12) Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

The “gate” is WIDE that leads to destruction and many go there.

(13) Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
(14) Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

On these two commandments hang all of the law and the prophets….

Matthew 22:37-40 KJV
(37) Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
(38) This is the first and great commandment.
(39) And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
(40) On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets
.

Those who "dwell on the earth"....minding earthly things...rejoice and get paid when we do not REMEMBER to do the law and the prophets. Their dead bodies are not put in graves...that is, REMEMBERANCE! And so the false prophets lead us astray and rejoice when we do not remember to listen to the 2 witnesses: the law and the prophets...and do them.

Revelation 11:9-10 KJV
(9) And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

But if we remember to do them....they will "torment" those who "dwell on the earth"...in their earthy wisdom of contention, envy, strife and hatred. The rich man shall have torment.

(10) And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the ear

They shall have "torment" in the presence of the Lamb as "Lazarus" keeps the dying of our Lord Jesus in his body in face of their persecutions. Blessed is "Lazarus" who dies to sin in the Lord for he shall have rest...peace. We are to have patience as they will be tormented by their own tongues day and night without remedy as the righteous judgment of God (the brimstone) will be upon them for their evil speaking. They will be tormented with fire in the presence of the holy angels....the words of our Lord...as they will not believe in them while "Lazarus" is carried away by the "angels" to a place of peace in the bosom of Abraham.

Revelation 14:9-13 KJV
(9) And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
(10) The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

(11) And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Peace unto you.

The Son of God is come to give us an understanding so that we may know Him who is true.

1 John 5:20 KJV
(20) And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

The “Undercover Boss” (so-to-speak) comes as a “stranger to see what the deeds of the servants (those who profess that they know God) will be towards His words….and we are to remember to let brotherly love continue and entertain “strangers” and their words…or rather His words….the “angels”.

Hebrews 13:1-2 KJV
(1) Let brotherly love continue.
(2) Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Revelation 22:11-12 KJV
(
11) He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
(12) And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

The Lord comes as a “stranger” ….just as He did with the two disciples who walked toward Emmaus.

Luke 24:13-18 KJV
(13) And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs.
(14) And they talked together of all these things which had happened.
(15) And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.

Their eyes were “holden” so that they should not know Him

(16) But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.
(17) And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad
?

Aren’t you a “stranger” asked “Cleopas”….

(18) And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?

“Cleopas” means “glory (as if being called) of the Father”. We are called to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

God has chosen us to salvation through the sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the Truth. We hear the Spirit of Truth and we believe. We are washed with the Word as we hear and let brotherly love continue.

2 Thessalonians 2:13-14 KJV
(13) But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
(14) Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Son of man comes at a time not expected in the words of a “stranger”. He opens up the Scriptures to our understanding so that we may know Him who is true.

Luke 24:27-31 KJV
(27) And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

The two disciples let brotherly love continue as they entertained a “stranger” and His words. They were found of Him inviting: they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.

(28) And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.

“I was a stranger, and ye took me in….”

(29) But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.

“For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat….”

(30) And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.
(31) And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.

We know Him by letting brotherly love continue. We keep the “feast” with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Luke 24:35-45 KJV
(35) And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.
(36) And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
(37) But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
(38) And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?

We do not know when the Son of man comes…so we must be ready at all times. He sends out the flesh and bone brothers to speak His words in the Spirit.

(39) Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"

(40) And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.

The faithful and wise servant shall be found entertaining “strangers”…serving meat in due season. They will joy in what they hear.

(41) And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?
(42) And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.
(43) And he took it, and did eat before them.

They are to entertain their words as He opens up our understanding so that we might understand the Scriptures.

(44) And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
(45) Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures
,

The faithful and wise servant shall be found of Him giving meat in due season to those whom He sends out to speak His words rather than be found beating upon them with malicious words in unbelief. The faithful and wise servants will be found hospitable and inviting.

Matthew 24:44-47 KJV
(44) Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
(45) Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
(46) Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
(47) Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goo
ds.

They will entertain “strangers” and their (His) words as the Son opens up the Scriptures to our hearing ears and minds and hearts.

We receive the witness of men who are sent by Him but the witness of God which is greater is within our very hearts: “did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us by the Way and while He opened to us the Scriptures?”. His Word is like a fire and a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces.

Luke 24:32 KJV
(32) And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?

They are truly sent of Him as they speak the Word of God in sincerity….”in the sight of God speak we in Christ.” The truly sent (apostle = sent) does not come to retail the Word of God…handling it deceitfully for money’s sake as MANY are doing.

2 Corinthians 2:17 KJV
(17) For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

They speak what they hear the Spirit saying…preaching good tidings unto the MEEK. They are sent to preach the good news in the Spirit: to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.

Many are bound in the churches of carnal men who have used “good words and fair speeches” to bring many into their “prisons” where they are bound with the keeping of the doctrines and commandments of men and shackled with the works of darkness: envy, strife and hatred of one another.

Isaiah 61:1-3 KJV
(1) The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
(2) To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
(3) To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

The faithful and wise servant shall hear the Word of Truth and be found of Him being swift to hear and slow to speak, slow to wrath. Some will be tempted to speak out in their wrath towards what they hear. Happy (blessed) is the man that endures during temptation and overcomes.

James 1:12-22 KJV
(12) Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

This temptation to speak out in wrath against what we hear the Spirit saying does not come of God but every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed to speak out in evil.

(13) Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
(14) But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

When lust conceives, it brings forth sin…evil speaking. And sin, “ when it is finished”, brings forth death.

(15) Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
(16) Do not err, my beloved brethren.
(17) Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
(18) Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
(19) Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

We deceive ourselves when we do not bridle the tongue...even though we profess to be religious.

(20) For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
(21) Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
(22) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selv
es.

"The Spirit of the LORD is upon me.....To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God..."

Luke 21:22-23 KJV
(22) For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

The day of vengeance will be upon those who are with "child"...sin.... as in when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

(23) But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

The Lord thirsts” for a cup of cold water…for a welcoming response to His words. And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

John 19:28-30 KJV
(28) After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.

But some with a vessel full of vinegar (the heart full of wrath) will speak out in their wrath against what they hear Him speaking in the Spirit. They will speak out evil and “put it to His mouth” in their wrath.

(29) Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mout

When lust hath conceived, it brings forth sin…evil speaking: and sin, when “IT IS FINISHED”, brings forth death. Let us not be found drunk with the wine of wrath…the sour wine ….the “vinegar”…but be found full of the Spirit.

(30) When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

If we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the Truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins…. IT IS FINISHED. There will be no remedy for those who reject what they hear in their unbelief and continue to behave badly after being warned to let brotherly love continue….the blood of the covenant…as He loved us and gave Himself for us. We also are to love each other.

Hebrews 10:26-30 KJV
(26) For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
(27) But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
(28) He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
(29) Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
(30) For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

Let us not be drunk with the sour wine…having a heart (vessel) full of vinegar…wherein is “excess”…unsavedness. Instead, we are to be filled with the Spirit and speaking to ourselves within our hearts in rejoicing towards what we hear the Spirit saying. We are to be found of Him singing and making melody within our hearts to the Lord and giving thanks unto God.

Ephesians 5:17-21 KJV
(17) Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
(18) And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
(19) Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
(20) Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

We are to fear God and keep His commandments. We are to have brotherly love.

(21) Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

Let us not walk in the imagination of our own hearts (not bridling the tongue…deceiving our own hearts) to add “drunkenness” to thirst. “I thirst”. ) If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

Deuteronomy 29:18-20 KJV
(18) Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood;
(19) And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:
(20) The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.

The faithful and wise will hear His Voice and be found rejoicing within their hearts rather than speaking out evil with the heart full of wrath. The Lord opens His mouth and teaches us ….

Matthew 5:1-12 KJV
(1) And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:
(2) And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

…and those who are poor in spirit (poor in breath as they use few words) will be HAPPY (blessed). The poor in words shall hear and be happy for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. they will be able to enter in to His understanding.

(3) Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
(4) Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

HAPPY (blessed) are the meek for they shall inherit the earth. They will hear His voice teaching and they will humble themselves. They will inherit the earth for they shall have His eternal life in this earth while the wicked shall perish out of it.

(5) Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

HAPPY are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness. They shall be filled with the bread of heaven . Those who are found doing His righteousness shall be able to understand His words.

“If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.” They determine…they desire..to do His will and so will be filled with the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ who comes to open up our minds to His understanding.

(6) Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
(7) Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
(8) Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
(9) Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
(10) Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
(11) Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
(12) Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

A man who seems to be religious among us and yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man’s religion is in vain. He will speak out evil in wrath against what he hears the Spirit saying.

James 1:20-26 KJV
(20) For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
(21) Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
(22) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
(23) For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
(24) For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

Every “open vessel” which has no covering bound upon it…the mouth that opens and speaks evil… is unclean.

Numbers 19:15 KJV
(15) And every open vessel, which hath no covering bound upon it, is unclean
.
