In the Last Days of Mankind the Righteous Will Find No Friends

Jesus Christ said that the last days of mankind will be like the days of Noah and Lot. In both stories Noah and Lot, who were called the one righteous man left, had no friends with the inhabitants nor with certain members of his own family.

In the two stories that Christ references Noah represents mankind seeking pleasure from evil coming from the outside whereas Lot represents mankind seeking pleasure from evil coming from within themselves.

In both cases the one righteous man left had no friends with the inhabitants nor with his own family for Lot's wife had abandoned her family, Lot's daughters had sex with their own father when he was unconscious, and Noah's son Ham had sex with his own father when he was unconscious. Even today as the godly are lulled to sleep by the lusts of the flesh they will be defiled by those who are closest among them.

The point to takeaway from all of this sordid behavior is that God's judgment of our wickedness is not a remedial solution since the evil inside mankind is never eradicated. The evil inside each person will grow until it necessitates a response from God (hint: God's own son Jesus Christ becoming man and dying on the cross for all of mankind's sins and the Book of Revelation ).

In the end, when Jesus Christ gathers up his faithful into heaven to be with him for eternity (hint: the rapture), every believer in Jesus Christ will get a new body that is free of corruption and will be incorruptible.

It is interesting that the Book of Revelation highlights God bringing judgment upon all of mankind, and even then, mankind's lust of the flesh is never eradicated or subdued.

Believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and rest assured you'll be with God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit in heaven forever.

God Bless
