I hope it's alright to ask for prayers again. They uplifted my little family so much before and helped us escape abuse, which I'll always be grateful for. Since leaving said abusive relationship, I've begun searching for a job that will allow me to work from home, so I can take care of my kiddos. The instant we were safe I started looking, knowing that my soon to be ex husband would make sure we were no longer covered under his insurance. I've put in several applications and I'm waiting for responses, but until then, I'm left with no medical coverage for two chronically ill kids. Even state options while I have no job will take time to kick in, which leaves us out in the cold for medication they need now. And I'm terrified that any insurance may not cover what they need. GoodRX has been a source of little comfort, since the meds needed are still well over $250 EACH, even with discounts. Please, keep us in your thoughts as we try to get over this next hill in our journey. I believe we can do it, however hard it may be. If anyone has any advice or can offer conversation to a worried momma, my inbox is always open.
