Winston Churchill declared before the U. S. Congress “He must indeed have a blind soul who cannot see that some great purpose and design is being worked out here below of which we have the honour to be the faithful servants”.

A rational and right knowledge of this great purpose, of the Creators master plan, of where we stand today and of happenings yet to occur, is the essential basis for understanding the significance and true meaning of today’s events.
God was faithful to his unconditional promise to Abraham. Genesis 48:8-20 Not because of British or American goodness, superiority or worthiness, but because of Gods faithfulness, beginning in 1803 these two birthright nations suddenly burst forth as the greatest world powers in history. Together Britain and the USA came into possession of nearly ¾ of the world’s resources and wealth.

Abraham Lincoln said “We find ourselves in the peaceful possession of the fairest portion of the earth; we toiled not in the acquirement of these blessings. They have been given to us by the God of Abraham, Isaac and of Israel.

The missing vital understanding, is simply the identity of these great world powers in Biblical prophecy. Due to this lost key more than anything else, the Bible has come to be discredited and rejected in our education systems. The unproved and unprovable theory of evolution has been substituted as the foundational concept for the rational approach to knowledge.

Consider this fact - that the prophecies given to Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah, etc, could not have been known by the ancient House of Israel as they had already gone into exile. Nor were they for the House of Judah, because Israel is specifically mentioned, as the separation of the 10 tribes of Israel and the 2 tribes of Judah (the Jews) is very clear and won't be made into one nation again until the time of the end. Ezekiel 37:16-23, Jeremiah 3:18

My post was about the unsaved persons lack of interest. Not Christian or church's as every church I have ever attended has all preached about biblical Prophecies, fulfilled or yet to be fulfilled.

My point is that we should do our best to understand and study prophecy. But to dig into it to predict the eminent destruction of a nation, or trying to know exactly when the rapture will take place is nothing more than a waste of time that could be spend doing the Lords work.

I'm not bashing on learning biblical prophecy.

    Good post.
I am interested in the Greek, and because of all the good resources online, I have started to translate Revelation and harmonize it with the OT Hebrew Scriptures and Greek NT scriptures.

It is edifying for me and has helped me understand Revelation a lot more and thus the whole Bible better.........Here are the links if you and/or others are interested:

Those that are unsaved have no interest in living a holy life , they have no interest in having a relationship with Jesus , they are the lost and many don't have any interest in God at all , for them to have any real interest in bible prophecy - so before they would ever have an interest in prophecy they would have an interest in the bible , agree that all should dig deep for understanding ....my point was that 90,000 churches out of 100,000 churches that took a survey said outright that they never preach about prophecy , which is why so many people turn to books and movies and the internet , because churches these days are not interested in teaching prophecy , when I visit a church I always go directly to the staff and lead pastor and ask them about it , and it is typical that they will say something about a sermon series they did on Revelation 5 years ago , I went to a church that had a sermon series on Daniel that was 6 weeks long and did not even mention any of the chapters of Daniels prophecies , churches don't want to contend with any controversial topics because they don't want to find their congregations being divided over prophecies

What you're doing with the 666 idea is numerology, pure and simple. It won't get you anywhere towards understanding the beasts of Revelation. The idea of the counting per the Greek is using stones to count.

    Interesting......

It is used in Acts where Saul used that word for "vote"

5586. psephos psay'-fos from the same as 5584; a pebble (as worn smooth by handling), i.e. (by implication, of use as a counter or ballot) a verdict (of acquittal) or ticket (of admission); a vote:--stone, voice.

    Used in 2 verses:

    Acts 26:10
    which also I did in Jerusalem, and many of the Saints I in prison did shut up, from the chief priests having received the authority;
they also being put to death, I gave my vote<(psēphos) 5586> against them
    ,

    Revelation 2:17

The one having an ear let him hear! what the Spirit is saying to the out-calleds. To the one conquering, I shall be giving to him of the manna, of the having been hidden.
And I shall be giving him a white counter/stone<<(psēphos) 5586,

and on the stone/counter<(psēphos) 5586> a new name having been written, which no one has seen except the one obtaining.

5585. psephizo psay-fid'-zo from 5586; to use pebbles in enumeration, i.e. (generally) to compute:--count.

    Used in 2 verses:

    Luke 14:28
'For who of you, willing to build a tower, doth not first, having sat down, count<(psēphizō)5585> the expense, whether he have the things for completing?

    Revelation 13:18

Here the Wisdom is the one having Mind let him calculate!<(psēphizō) <5585>the number of the beast, for of man it is, a
nd the number of it six hundred sixty six.

    Hi "seventy",
Sure. I'll take your word for it. I don't need any Scriptural or Historical evidence. I COMPLETELY trust EVERYTHING you tell me, even with your nonsensical sentence structure! -- NOT.

    Thanks,

    Hi "Davy",

Rev. 13:18 This calls for wisdom: let him who has understanding reckon the number of the beast, for it is a human number, its number is six hundred and sixty-six.

You've thrown out a verse which disagrees with your doctrine, and you will accrue the "reward":

Rev. 22:18 I warn every one who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if any one adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, 19 and if any one takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
Good Luck, 'cause you're gonna need it ...

And how many times have men tried to use gematria and numerology just because of that interpretation to calculate, and they still don't know who that Antichrist is.

I have thrown out the false Bible Codes junk, the Hebrew Gematria many have tried to use in ciphering the number 666?? Yeah, you're funny. There's been some real wing-dinger presentations using numerology (which gematria from the Kabbalah occult system is) trying to point to just about anybody the orthodox Jews don't like, especially the office of the pope! But it's nonsense, and I'm not even a Catholic!

You would not use it anyway in a manner in any level of true understanding as you believe the nonsense of the rapture happens after satan is cast into the pit for 1000 years . A that point it has already happened a thousand years earlier and no longer needed :)

The problem is actually much deeper. Christ's enemies have been working to give America away. Through unconstitutional legislation like NAFTA, there's also been a plan for an American Union of the U.S., Canada, and Mexico; it's been in the works for over a decade now.

    https://www.aim.org/special-report/north-american-union-conspiracy-exposed/

The media has been trying to discredit any such ideas of an American Union, but sticking with God's Word about prophesied events for the end is how to know who is telling lies about it and who isn't. Trump no doubt well knows about it, and is determined to stop it, or at least slow the movement towards it down. It's no big mystery why even many Republicans hate Trump, it's because he is not on their one-world American Union plan.

Yep ; Once again, you provided a false private interpretation of what you think scripture means - you must first understand the why before you can understand the when , and you do not understand why which is why you have wrongly interpreted the scripture

    Re-post for "SeventySevens":

So if Scripture is correct that the "dead" arise first, and then they which are alive and remain shall be "caught up", then if we follow the "dead" then those who remain "alive" are raptured accordingly:

Rev. 20:4 Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom judgment was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony to Jesus and for the word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life, and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.

Rev. 20:7 And when the thousand years are ended, ...
... 13 And the sea gave up the dead in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead in them, and all were judged by what they had done.

Thus, when at the end of the age, when THE REST OF THE DEAD ARE RAISED, all who are alive and remain on earth shall ascend to the New Jerusalem:

1 Thess 4:15 For this we declare to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, shall not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the archangel’s call, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first; 17 then we who are alive, who are left, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so we shall always be with the Lord.

Please don't allow your church doctrine to supersede Scripture!

    Thanks,
    DaDad

You can quote all the scripture you want - but you still do not understand the WHY.
Until you can explain the Why - the purpose IN Detail of the purpose of the rapture there is no point in discussing it
You insist that the rapture happens AFTER The 1000 years that satan is cast in the pit - Explain the reasons for the purpose of the rapture- WHY do people need to be raptured AFTER satan is in the pit

Um, no thanks, I think I'll stick with SCRIPTURE! But thanks for "invitation".
