Hey Guys,

I haven't posted much in a long while, but it looks like some of the people I used to converse with might still be around. I wanted to let you guys know that I was received into full communion with the Catholic Church this Easter!

It has meant some interesting adjustments and changing of mindsets and habits. I didn't have a lot of amazing spiritual experiences, but I have been amazed at the difference in my life just in terms of attitude and my ability to resist sins etc.

I have also had a couple of instances in which I was surprised by my the strength of my emotional reaction to some doctrinal realizations etc.

From the Copts to the North Koreans, from the Syrians to the Vietnamese, the Persecuted Church still suffers at the hands of those who know not what they do. I may be having my freedom of worship limited in China, but I am still grateful that I may still have the life God has given to me. There are so many others across the world who are being exterminated for their faith....being killed for preaching love and forgiveness, I sense a little paradox...why would states persecute peaceful people?

Perhaps the evil of humans is greater than I envisioned...
