Obama’s Third-Party History - Stanley Kurtz - National Review Online
On the evening of January 11, 1996, while Mitt Romney was in the final years of his run as the head of Bain Capital, Barack Obama formally joined the New Party, which was deeply hostile to the mainstream of the Democratic party and even to American capitalism. In 2008, candidate Obama deceived the American public about his potentially damaging tie to this third party. The issue remains as fresh as today’s headlines, as Romney argues that Obama is trying to move the United States toward European-style social democracy, which was precisely the New Party’s goal.
    You shouldn't be.

    Progressive Populist 11/96 Editorial
New Party members and supported candidates won 16 of 23 races, including an at-large race for the Little Rock, Ark., City Council, a seat on the county board for Little Rock and the school board for Prince George's County, Md. Chicago is sending the first New Party member to Congress, as Danny Davis, who ran as a Democrat, won an overwhelming 85% victory. New Party member Barack Obama was uncontested for a State Senate seat from Chicago.

I hear Obama is denying membership, but the same radio show I heard interviewed several members who testified that Obama did join. He should have said it was a free membership to solicit votes and that he knew nothing about their communist agenda. Instead, Obama's created a small firestorm that may blow into a conflagration. Maybe he is a communist? He denies it, but who knows?

Truth from a partisan media. That would be a new thing.

You call it partisan because from your left wing perch the center looks partisan.

Wonder why the media is partisan when a story might be to the Empty Suit's detriment, but they are fair when the story is against anything GOP or conservative?^_^

'Tis a great mystery, to be revealed only at the pressing and cleaning and return to Chicago of the Empty Suit. Nah, probably not even then.
