CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS... Being here one more day and not being able to see her is not right. On the other hand, we have decided that loving each other so much that we disgust ourselves is actually a good thing.

IJWTS I feel like an idiot for saying the words "please don't tell anyone" and then actually believing that someone who honor that. I guess even after being on this forum for over a year, you still can't trust people to keep their mouths shut and to not gossip about you behind your back. I am glad I know this now.

IJWTS - I decided I was going to detox myself from caffeine ....and this morning, I went downstairs, saw I had no coffee and almost involuntarily got some on my way to work....it's like my resolve just slipped out of my head or something
