Why would a Christian want to fellowship in a congregation of young believers? Why would a Christian want to fellowship absent younger and older believers?

What happens when a congregant reaches age 26 or 27; do the "age out" of the fellowship?

The church's obsession with youth is not good. It is a way that the world is having an unhealthy influence on the church. It has resulted in a church that is obsessed with fads, trying to appear cool hip and relevant, and has become little more than another source of entertainment.

As an older adult, one of the things I wanted in a church was some younger adults, mainly because I'd spent the last few years in an aging church that was on the decline. That said, I wanted a good mix of ages rather than be "that old bald guy who sits on the right" in one of these new hipster churches. I found such a place, and it's good to see a younger generation rising as it indicates future sustainability.
