Hi there,
So this is about standards of behaviour: specifically, what standard will you adopt, if you see the anti-Christ?
Will you be "anti" anti-Christ, or will you be kosher?
The point is, not that we have found the upper hand to the anti-Christ, but that we are lead by the Holy Spirit, how to respond to "him".
For some this is distressing, for others, their commitment is known to them - such that they have peace.
The Scripture is that we must embrace Heaven as a little child, but also with greater righteousness.
The wise thing then, is to learn in what manner we ourselves sin, removing the plank from our own eye first, as it were.
When we have taken our stand, and the anti-Christ departs, then we will have an abundance of the joy of the Lord - joy that the Holy Spirit comes to bring!
What will become of our being ready to be "anti" anything? Union with our Lord! We won't even speak of it!
