May the Lord use you to minister to the needy, to the brokenhearted by the wisdom & power of the Spirit.

Psalm 34:17-19 The righteous cry out & the LORD hears; He delivers them from all their troubles. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted, and he delivers those whose spirit has been crushed. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him from them all.

Deuteronomy 4:7 For what nation is so great as to have a god as near to them as the LORD our God is to us whenever we call on Him?

Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted & binds up their wounds.

Isaiah 61:1,2 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is on Me, because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release from darkness to the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor & the day of our God’s vengeance, to comfort all who mourn, to provide for those who grieve in Zion—to give them a crown of beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning & a garment of praise for a spirit of despair. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified!

Matt 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Jeremiah 31:13 Then the maidens will rejoice with dancing, young men and old as well. I will turn their mourning into joy & give them comfort & joy for their sorrow.
