We didn't bat an eyelid when they used that kind of humour on the Fresh Prince.

I saw no malicious intent there, personally.

    Wishful thinking.

    Biden is desperate.

Not the smartest phrasing in my mind.

Ug. Bernie wouldn't be saying things this stupid.

The host wasn't impressed with the comment and sure did not think it was humor. I don't think anyone else did either. Good 'ole Joe - foot in mouth again.

That they have a monolithic mindset.

He also didn’t dislike his comment, he just had a different point he was making at the time.

    I don't agree.
He was voicing the same Democratic argument that Democrats always make, that if they vote for a Republican they are voting against their own best interest as a minority/a black person in this case.

Quite a bit. One is a comment on the track records of either party and the other is a generalization of thought of a certain race.

You know how Biden often misspeaks. I think he meant here, "you're not on the plantation".

I watched the whole video and it didn't appear to me that Charlamagne was bothered by it at all. Maybe that's because Biden was grinning when he said it, idk.

That's superimposing a monolithic mindset over a race. You're right that politicians push monolithic sentiments all the time but they typically are not about race, or certainly not explicitly about race. It's a clear agenda however, tasteful or not, that he going after a black constituent.

Yup, he's campaigning for constituents and Biden, as most "bleeding heart" Democrats are, is sympathetic to the difficulties of minorities.
