Hi,
I listened to about half of it. Seems like he did a pretty good job. Thank you Charis.
Starting out my walk in a life and death struggle with legalism...
messages like this are beyond refreshing. It causes me much
pain to know at one time looking at my Christianity would have
revealed a core of moralistic thinking.

We do what we do as believers because Jesus did what He did
in providing atoning grace. If He is not in focus, neither is the
professed life... a dangerous place to be in.

Glad you got to listen... God bless!

No, last time i listened to paul washer i was very put off by it.
I don't know you, or the situation. But, God can speak through anyone ...even a donkey.
The focus is the message, one that is sorely needed today... namely, that if a believer
goes through life with any motive other than Jesus' love for them, they have not believed
the true gospel.

You are correct, God does speak through many and can speak through anyone at anytime. roof of that is all around us in the CHrist experience amongst us.
You are also correct, Love must be the motivation. Love comes from God because God IS Love
A message of Love is a message from and of God
My apologies that this post was not addressed when first written.

From what I gather from the 'coexist' icon chosen by the poster,
and the 'atheistic evolution' world view stated in the profile, we
are on very differing plains.

The 'christ experience' mentioned is a new age thought that is
NOT the premise of what I was saying in my OP. There are
many false christs, that display humanitarian 'love'. Though not
evil, this is not the love of God shown in the redeeming love of
the true Jesus, the Son of God. That love is translated as 'agape',
and is the love that is sourced only in God. Not all love is divine...
therefore not all love is equal.
