  4. There have been some changes in the Life Stages section involving the following forums: Roaring 20s, Terrific Thirties, Fabulous Forties, and Golden Eagles. They are changed to Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Golden Eagles will have a slight change.
  5. CF Staff, Angels and Ambassadors; ask that you join us in praying for the world in this difficult time, asking our Holy Father to stop the spread of the virus, and for healing of all affected.
  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.

If nothing will be remembered from this present age, how do we prepare for the next one?

It is written that when the New Heavens and Earth are here, the former things will neither be mentioned or remembered. (Isaiah 65:17)

    what will you remember?

What skills that you practice now, will be transferable to life in the new world?

Is your time commitment to developing new world transferrables proportional to the time you will spend there compared to your time in this present age?

    How then shall you live?

I had an older man tell me as a teenager that "the time will come when you don't remember not being married."

Okay, but your single days still shape who you are after you're married.

    Okay.

    So you die.

What is compatible with life in God's kingdom?

I believe its more about sin and sorrow that kind of thing. You will still be you. The road your on.. the work Christ as started in you.. we tend to think we MISSED Him at so many times of our life but I believe that WORK He wanted can still take place after this life.

There will be peopel in haven we know we hurt.. we will go to them and say sorry. The evil the sin part that was fake not real not of God will not be there. We still FEEL LOL! We will answer for every word we have spoken. Take this life and then take ALL the sin all the work Satan did and get rid of that.. then AMP it up for GOD ...man things we cant even think of .. far greater then this life..

Still music.. books.. people read write.. just take EVIL out of the picture.

Imagine, on this screen are all these pixels containing one pixel each. However, imagine if each pixel was everything that is not currently there?

Imagine, a type of book that does not end, and always takes up the same amount of space?

What eternity we cultivate within ourselves now with God in our day to day ... totally goes with us. The kingdom of God will be awesome because God is there, but also because of all the citizens who will be there!

In the story of Lazarus and the rich man, they remembered everything there.

In Isaiah we have how the former things "shall not be remembered or come to mind." (Isaiah 65:17) So, to me this means we will remember nothing.

It will be like we have just walked through a tunnel totally dark, and now we are looking out at the Grand Teton National Park. And we are enjoying one another's company, while in wonder and love of God who is sharing all this with us. So, how much of that dark tunnel are we going to remember, now that love has our attention forward?

Our Apostle Paul says we will be in bodies like the body resurrected of Jesus. So, our bodies will be supernatural, with abilities which our present physical bodies do not have, I would think. So, our physical abilities will be passed away and not come to mind, also, I would say.

Also > Paul says "the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God." (in Romans 8:21)

So, to me this means the earth will be new in quality . . . like our glorious bodies. So, if the earth is also resurrected to be in our glorious liberty of our resurrection, then our bodily skills of this life would not be relevant for handling a resurrected earth.

I don't think our abilities physical can be relevant for the new earth. So, there will not be any transferring of them.

I believe we will discover all God pleases to share with us and do with us. And "eye has not seen", Paul says, in 1 Corinthians 2:9.

discovering :) what God does with us

That was the afterlife prior to the crucifixion. The new heavens and new earth happens after the final judgment.

How about faith muscles, and the development of spiritual gifts?

I think is horrible to think we will have 'amnesia' of everything, and it doesn't make any sense, you think Jesus forgot what he lived on earth?

Exercise, now . . . so we become resurrected to be like Jesus. Once we are resurrected, possibly we will be already as much as we can become. So, exercising then might not happen.

But we are talking about "faith working through love," (Galatians 5:6), right?

That which is in part will be done away by the perfect whole, I think. We will be fully mature, "in all things" > Ephesians 4:15. My opinion, anyway, is that as we become like Jesus, more and more, we grow in all His things. So, in the resurrection we will be fully like Jesus, possibly in all His ability, not only certain gifts.

    Definitely faith working through love

I was also thinking about 1 Corinthians 13, when all has ceased these three will remain: Faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love.

The thought that I was understanding was that if I grow to be more like God now and the attributes of the new world, existing there will be easier from the get go. Since we live there forever, it seemed like a reasonable time investment.

I think the forgetting bit happens after all triggers for those memories will be melted with indignant heat in the Judgment. I take the "wiping of the tears away" as the last of the memories.

We will reap so much more than the seeds we have sown. So, sowing now is a good investment.

I think this can include sowing scripture to God, in order for Him in us to have us living what these scriptures mean to Him, more and more > Isaiah 55:11.

I think is horrible really that God for no apparent good reason at all will wipe our memories, we will not even remember our life with Jesus on earth if that is the case or our loved ones, i think it doens't make sense and is horror.
