Malcolm Turnbull is the current Prime Minister of Australia. His party is called "liberal" but in reality it means conservative and right of centre.
It is rumoured that his own party are not happy with him. Not conservative enough and taking the party too close to the centre. Some even say his policies are more left wing/socialist than conservative.
But who will replace him? Seems like people only think so far ahead. Gotta get rid of him, gotta get rid of him. But there is no suitable replacement. I think you could do a lot worse than Malcolm Turnbull. Maybe because I am more left wing than right. :)

Anybody but Abbott again. Please?

In seriousness, I've read some analysis (which made good sense to me) that suggested that the old divisions of Labor/Liberal don't map well onto current voting demographics, especially the younger generations, and that what's needed is a realignment; the emergence of a new centrist party (kind of where Xenophon is, I guess) with a left-wing party left of Labor and a right-wing party right of the Liberals to kind of balance it out. The Greens are well positioned on the left and I guess Bernardi's making a bid to establish something on the right. Perhaps within a generation, the two big parties won't be the two big parties any more?

Hon. Anthony Abbott is the right replacement for him, unquestionably.
