The closest I can come is Libertarian. The Lord has always acted as a Libertarian would like government to act.He gives us freedom to do what we will and allows us to face the consequences of those choices that we are free to make. . He said "the truth will set you free." He never said government will make you happy or government will make you good nor did he use his almighty power to force anyone to conform. The Democrat and Republican party officials, bureaucrats and politicians do not display the same sort of behavior nor speak in a manner that would make one believe that they are willing to allow citizens to decide how to live or even who they will subsidize.

He could have voted Democrat a few generations ago, but not now. He could have voted Republican a few years ago, maybe, but not now. Depends on the third party. For sure He would not expect a political salvation as if belonging to the correct political party would fix anything.

Jesus is alive today and he is speaking to many people through their hearts .Where told us the kingdom of God was. He still wants our eye to be single not looking through the left eye , right eye .Democrat or Republican , but finding common ground between the two. He wants us to take up our cross and follow him. That means take responsibility for our lives , our country so Direct Democracy is the next step to bring God kingdom as above so below.

Republican.
He prefers the company of sinners over the self righteous who think that everyone else except them is an evil racist, sexist, bigoted xenophobe.
With Trump among them GOPs sin in spades. Since Clinton, Dems only sin depending on what the definition of the word is, is

No. Jesus would not vote in the United States (a corrupt country to the core). His disciples would not either. They were mocked and called idiots and simpletons because they would not participate in/with/ either politics any more (after being immersed in Jesus' Name) , nor in carnal partying/ drinking/ fleshly motivated activities.
When Israel "voted" (picked something by popularity) they sinned and were punished for it.

For further expansion, look up online "citizens of heaven" (and particularly Bible passages).

He was not involved in politics but the Kingdom of God. Change starts with us.

Exactly. I do not believe Christ would vote. God's Kingdom is not of this world system

Expecting God to vote one way or another subverts the democratic political process. For democracy to work, it requires that we have basic faith in our political opponents that we are basically motivated by the same values of freedom and justice for all people, that all are created with the same infinite value that is our birthright as children of God, and that is what ultimately motivates us to take the positions that we do take in the political process.

Our world is such that we do not know what the future holds, and the consequences of any particular set of actions are unknown. Will a set of actions and policies have the desired effect of increasing the standard of living and well being for members of society in the most advantageous way possible? Or is there a better solution that we have not thought of that others may have better answers to?

We all have different ideas, but the fact is that we don't know, or we don't know perfectly, at any rate. We make an educated guess, and follow a rational course that makes the most sense to us, and try to convince others that this is the best for everybody.

Democracy means a willingness to give the other person's ideas a chance. It is being open to the possibility that somebody else's ideas are better than our own, or that they may fit the current circumstances better than the ideas that we think will work.

God, being God, cannot enter one side of the political arena, without demonizing the other side. God entering politics would therefore subvert the political process. God entering the political process would subvert God even, for he would be taking on the role of man as if it were his role to make the decisions for us that he wants us, as moral creatures, to make for ourselves.

All in all, it is very good advise to give unto Caesar that which belongs to Caesar, and give unto God that which belongs to God.

Christ wasn't interested in earthly geopolitics. Render under Caesar, ya know? That said, once Christ has returned and the Kingdom of Heaven has arrived then we're looking at a monarchy. Not democracy.

So how Christ would vote is a moot point either way. We should be asking ourselves which party represents God's moral precepts the best as their most fundamental and unchangeable pillars in their platform (e.g. right to life) and then vote thusly.
