He might finally decide to give a firm answer on a prayer that doesn't seem to have had one yet. As for which one, I don't know, I've had several.

The sound of the wind, rustling leaves, birdsong in the morning, the chorus of crickets and frogs in the evenings, rain and thunder, the splashing of streams, the summer cicadas, waves crashing on the Jersey shore.

Well God sent an angel to speak to me. This is what happened. The angel put his flaming sword on each of my shoulders. Like a knighting and said " Cameran you are forever loved, you are forever forgiven, you are forever redeemed, you are forever saved, you are forever sanctified." Then he cried and I felt the tears fall on my skin around my eyes like a tattoo. No joke I had been fasting and praying for almost two weeks.

God has spoken to me on at least two occasions not counting Him revealing scripture to me.

In answer to a prayer, God said, "Love him."
When struggling to overcome a bad habit, God said, "Stop hanging out with your friends."

Usually it's something that grabs my attention, captures my heart.

God has spoken to me previously when I would make a wrong choice or in a few major life decisions. He also has spoken to me about other issues. If in a general sense He would speak to me today, He might say, go onward, spread the good news and make disciples. I think that would sum it up, mostly in a very general what should I do way.

He always speaks to us through scripture, through creation and through sermons.

The real question is are we listening.
