I am jobless and will run out of money soon.

My wife is divorcing me.

My parents want to sever all ties with me.

My brother already severed all ties with me.

My cell group leader still ask me to go church and cell group meeting.

Why even bothered? Shouldn't they just leave me to die on the streets?

How many people do you love? If you focus on being good to other people
some of them will reverse their decisions about you. So it's really up to you
to decide what you want to do with your abilities.

For example, there are help wanted signs at almost every business.
They need your help. It's hard to dispute the signs.
People are asking.

Hello @Hyruga, first off, WELCOME TO CF  I'm glad that you found us, but VERY sorry to hear about all of the difficulties that you are facing right now.

I see that you are still part of the visible church and a cell group too. That's good :) Have you talked to your pastor about everything that's going on in your life right now? (if not, I would do so as soon as possible, for his help/counsel, and so that he'll know how to pray for you, specifically).

If you don't mind me asking, does the trouble that you are having with your various family members have to do with you being a Christain?

Thanks!

Praying for you.

Also, continually look to/trust God to see you through this difficult time and He will .. e.g. Isaiah 40:31, 41:10; Lamentations 3:22-24; Romans 8:28; 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, 23-24.

God bless you! (Numbers 6:24-26)

My parents want to sever all ties with me.
David felt the same way [Psalm 27].

"When my father and my mother forsake me,
Then the Lord will take care of me." Psalms 27:10 NKJV

"Wait on the Lord;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord!" Psalms 27:14 NKJV

I have had a lot of bad things happen to me in the last few years including a fairly serious stroke. In my own case this has been instrumental in causing me to trust God more strongly than I have ever needed to before. If you are looking to people for help, you will be disappointed and this applies to all of us.

When all else fails, God does does not! I've been through a very testing time and I've had to discover the faithfullness of God for my self during this very difficult time. Is not your very testing time, so that you will learn about God's faithfullness to you. I have not chosen my forum name for nothing, this is the result of my experience of His faithfullness to me.

This is where you start to understand that God has an amazing plan for your life and you start to learn so much more about Him and His ways!

But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. (Job 23:10)

The same reason Christ bothered. Shouldn't God have just left us to die in our sins? It is because of the spirit of Christ that they bother. It is Grace.

We all are created with a need for God in our lives, which many try to fill that need with something other than God. For far too many people, this is our tragedy and not many realise that we all have this need for God and to live for Him, instead of living only for ourselves. Ultimately we are all saved by the gace of God, even when we failed to recognise, that God was already pulling all the strings to make things happen!

Sorry I am alright. I will still actively try to find a job and I will go to church. Thank you.

I have never had any success, when looking for the right church, instead God sent the right church looking for me. Maybe you shouls ask God to send the right church looking for you too! How do you know whether a particular church is the right one? I did not know, but the more churches you seem to be trying, the less easy it is to know!

It seems like you are going through a really hard season.

But, one thing I'm thankful for is that your cell group leader is still pursuing you and asking you to come to church. That's one good thing in all the bad things you're experiencing, there's at least one good thing.

I encourage you to go to church, even though you don't feel like it. Have someone sit with you, maybe sit with your cell group leader.

You're loved. So thoroughly loved by a good, good Father.

Father, thank You that Hyruga found this site. I pray he will find comfort here as he seeks after you and finds fellowship here to support and uplift him. You are a God of restoration. I pray for a close walk with You and restoration of Hyruga's family and work. Allow him to find a church where he can grow and find comfort and support in this time. In Jesus Name, Amen.

And welcome! Praying for you.

Hi, just to update, I have found a job through the grace of God.

Though the job requires me to work on weekdays and both weekends and also work at night, it's still a job and potentially may bear even more fruits in the future. Thank you for reading.

Sorry to hear of the problems you are going through. People do not always understand us or our motives. But God is always looking to get us back on track. Times are tough right now for you, but God can turn it around, as you do your best to reach out to Him. It will probably not be easy for a while, it is hard to see God's love when everything seems to be against us. Praying that things change for you.
