I was in a house full of demons and they where holding me down and I knew I was asleep.it felt like I was in hell.

I've had quite a few attacks in my sleep before and noticed that they usually happened when I didn't pray or read the word before going to sleep. They can be frightening and feel very real, and sometimes it's the only way the enemy can try to bother us if we are doing good in our Christian lives. Best prevention is to spend some time with the Lord before going to sleep. Blessing your house also helps, and also leaving a Christian music radio station on 24/7.

This sounds like sleep paralysis. A common occurrence that can really feel like you are being restrained and assaulted.

Can you see a doctor who specializes in sleep?

I found that Jesus is my best doctor, pray and read the Bible before going to sleep and that takes care of the problem.

But seriously, see a doctor. That's totally compatible with reading the Bible and prayer.

I'm not trying to insinuate anything, but sometimes God shows people the consequences of actions if they don't repent. But then, also, sometimes God shows people the truth so they can warn others. At Fatima in 1917, Mary showed three peasant children what hell looked like.

This is not a spiritual problem, it is strictly natural. Temporary paralysis occurs during Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep, and dysregulation of this system can lead to episodes of waking paralysis. This waking paralysis is often mist interpreted as an immobilizing attack. It is important that you not ignore this symptom because sleep paralysis is often part of a suite of other sleep disorders, you need to consult a sleep specialist if this occurs often.

It is not natural. By saying it is natural is arguing that there is a fault in God's creation, when there is none. God made us perfect in creation. You think that Adam and Eve ever suffered from sleep paralysis?

As well as hypnagogic jerks, sleep paralysis is completely spiritual. Also, sleep paralysis does not just occur in the REM stage of sleep, I have experienced it countless times falling sleep and waking up, or during sleep.

I do however agree with how sleep disorders can affect the frequency in which you may experience it. For example, when I would sleep only a few hours in the span of a few days for whatever reason, I would get hypnic jerks constantly.

When you go to sleep at night play an audible Bible, I reccomend Bible Gateway. I never thought of it until Solomon Porch said to try it and it really helped! My thanks to her <3
