I think this board should be closed on September 11th

I'm not sure if this is the right area to post this, but I think this forum should be closed on September 11th out of respect for the victims and their families.

I'm afraid I have to disagree with that, given that there are people from all nations who come to this forum. To close the forum because of something that happened in America primarily to Americans seems a little selfish.
Why didn't you ask for the forums to be closed for Remembrance Day (or Veterans Day)?

The fact is, people of almost 200 nations died that day, as the result of the attacks. This was not something exclusive to America. This was a tragedy and a loss, felt worldwide.

This website will remain open.
