I felt like I lost my chances to go to heaven. When I was a kid, I converted to Islam then Buddhism after I knew that Jesus Christ was real and I have seen the manifestations and miracles of the Holy Spirit firsthand and still turned my back on God to go to a different religion so it was open rebellion against God almighty. I was not ignorant. When I was a kid, I literally saw miracles such as the deaf hearing again, the blind seeing, the lame walking, near death experiences, visions and dreams of Jesus Christ, casting out demons, diseases like cancer and HIV being cured, speaking in heavenly languages (tongues), and many more. The worst part is after seeing AND KNOWING FULL WELL that this is the Holy Spirit doing this today in our age and feeling his presence, I purposely and deliberately converted to Islam, found the truth about Islam, and then joined Buddhism seeking false enlightenment and was dabbling with eastern mysticism practices. I feel like I betrayed God and did what the people in Hebrews did. How screwed am I?

He'll forgive you.
He forgave me.
He Forgives All his Children.
The very fact that you feel the way you do shows he's calling you to repent.
“Now, therefore,” says the LORD, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.”

Sounds like the devil is trying to get inside your head. The scriptures are clear. Jesus died on the cross for ALL our sins. Also 2 Chronicles 30 v 9 is a good scripture. James 4 v 7 is a good follow up scripture too. Submit it all back to God and the devil won't stand a chance. Lots of love as you go through this.

You have NOT lost your chance in heaven since its clear that you have repented for your sins then Gods unconditional Grace is abound. Your sins does NOT determine who you are or your destiny as long as there is sincere repentance. Dont be so harsh on yourself, easier said then done i know, but please remember that this sin and active rebellion doesnt define you. Dont let anyone tell you otherwise.

I felt like I lost my chances to go to heaven.

That's impossible. There isn't a single human being alive that has "lost [their] chance to go to heaven". Jesus died for you.

When I was a kid, I converted to Islam then Buddhism after I knew that Jesus Christ was real and I have seen the manifestations and miracles of the Holy Spirit firsthand and still turned my back on God to go to a different religion so it was open rebellion against God almighty. I was not ignorant. Welcome to being human. We're all sinners. Without exception. You're not screwed. God loves you and Jesus died for you. And salvation is available in Him, in each moment of each day, hour by hour, week by week, without fail. God is for us in Jesus, and nobody is outside of the love of God which is for us in Jesus Christ.

If we look to ourselves, we'll always miss the mark. That's what sin literally is, missing the mark. But Jesus has done everything, and in Him is everything we need. Trust in Him.

Are you currently attending church? If so, what kind of church? A good church always preaches responsibly, and in the case of when we are burdened down with guilt, shame, and fear, that's when we need to hear the Gospel the most. Christ died for you.

So allow me to tell it straight: You are forgiven. All of your sins are forgiven. God forgives you, and loves you. Whatever you did, and whatever you think you've done, you are forgiven. Whatever you might do, whatever you will do, you are forgiven.

You can't stop God's love, His love for you is invincible.

Don't rehash the past. Satan knows your past and knows that Christ died to give you an amazing future. Go with it.

Peter betrayed Christ - not as a "kid" not as a "teen" not as a 20 year old but after 3 years of working daily with Christ literally, visibly, physically in contact and even HE was forgiven. Give those notions a break my friend. Bury them.

Satan wants believers to constantly be looking over their shoulder suspecting that God may have abandoned them... don't give him any air time on that one.

Embrace Christ with both arms.

Immerse yourself in this world class commentary on the life of Christ - and be ready for Christmas this year by reading this free online book.

Depends, are you doing something about your feeling, or is it all talk.
If you are serious show God and people that you are serious. as bobryan has said ' Embrace Jesus, Christianity with both arms.'

Jesus told a parable about a widow and the unjust judge, who because of her persistence in pleading for justice, gave her justice.

How important is heaven to you?
Show Jesus that you value and desire it.

And yet you've chosen to write a post on a Christian forum, in a section called "requests for Christian advice."

Do you want to be screwed? Are you boasting about it?
Or did you write this post because, deep down, you want someone to tell you that Jesus loves you and died for you?

Well he does and he did.
It doesn't matter how many miracles you see. If you can accept the biggest miracle of all; that God loves you and wants a relationship with you - there is hope.

I totally believe in the love and mercy and patience of Jesus and God and the holy Spirit and I hate to be the guy who asks the simple question..

Why would you even do that?

What exactly made you think that coverting to Islam and Buddhism was going to do anything for you if you know the truth and love and power of Jesus?

I don't get your story at all.

I know we all make mistakes. I just don't understand what you're thinking was for doing that.

If you saw that there was truth in Christianity, did you think there might be truth in Buddhism? I have not looked into Buddhism. I read a short book years ago, but found it confusing. If I recall correctly, it isn’t a search for God but the intent is to let go of the material world. Did you find anything valuable in those teaching?

I did think on about Buddhism, but I felt that it did not help Democracy.
Countries and people that lead open debate and safe Demo Gov,
tend not to have a Buddhist tradition.
Same as well for Islam, and even for Orthodox Greek Christianity and Italian Christianity !
But in Pauls day the Greeks liked to debate, and did not threaten him,
even though they were not Christian,
but they did allow him to Preach.
Which lead to many taking an interest in the Jewish thinking and Jesus.
The Jews are not allowed to read Chapter 53 of Isaiah,
this is the nature of Orthodoxy,
it makes a wall against Jesus.

In Democratic Countries, I have yet to see Buddhists leading against the Problem of Homelessness,
and am still open to the Possibility, and same for Islam.
Regards Homelessness, the most dedicated Christian I have ever found on the Internet,
was in California, he was an English man, without his proper papers, on the street for about 10 years,
living off the Homeless himself, by looking after their Bags while they were busy begging.
He preached and preached and preached...
Last I knew he was still preaching !
Never seen a Buddhist or Islamic like that yet, but keeping an eye out.
Same for a healthy Atheist, never seen one preaching Atheism as good as that Christian.

Regards Homelessness its own self, the best efforts against it seem to be from those who got out of it,
but were not religious, sadly, the religious seem to lose sight of actually stopping being Homeless.
Its main causes are the loss of work, due to age, personnel health problems and socialising problems,
the same as the ancient problem of becoming a much to good close friend of Alcohol.
But now adays it is more common, mainly due to machines and immigrants doing the jobs that are not popular or well paid.
This also has caused a huge increase in Foodbanks, as people feel via budget, nearer to being Homeless,
and nearer to having to live in a bad area.

Regards the future, I hope to find a Christian allotment grower of vegetables, preaching and feeding,
like that Homeless English Christian in California.
Takes a lot of work and love!
I myself have a number of health troubles that prevent this for the time being.

I do have an interest in Bible Numerics however.
Sort of Standing Miracles like the Solar Eclipse.
Here is my Signature message :
[The first 6 primes are 2 3 5 7 11 13,
and their digit order reversed is 31 11 7 5 3 2.
It is my belief that the Crucifixion happened on
the 31st year AD, and on the 117th day of that year,
and at the 532nd minutes after a theoretical 6 AM Dawn,
that being 2:52 PM.
For comparison the Ninth hour is 540 minutes after a thoretical 6 AM Dawn,
that being 3 PM, or 15:00 hours.
The 117th day is the 27th of April, the 4th Month.

The Solar Eclipse, hints of a clue God is giving us.
It is where I found the date, and then eventually the time of the Crucifixion.
By looking at numbers to do with a Month :
A Calendar Month is most often 31 days in a year,
and it is 4 weeks, and it is 2 Fortnights, and a week is 7 days,
and from those numbers 31 4 27 can be made.

Some Women mark a Calendar with the Greek letter Pi,
and Pi=3.14159265358... in Math,
which is round up able to 3.1415927,
which has the numbers 31 4 15 9 27.
P is the 16th letter and i is the 9th, and 169=13*13!
Pi is the 16th letter of the Greek Alphabet,
and a mirror put under the word Pi,
looks like a 61, and 61 is the reverse of 16!
There is a grey patch on the Moon with a sort of n shape,
which is also roughly the shape of the Greek letter Pi.
The Moon Geologists, can not explain what made the grey part.

More exactly, a Month is 27.321661 days, on average relative to the Stars,
and 29.530589 days, on average relative to the Sun.
27.321661 days is also 27 days 7 hours 43 minutes 11.5 seconds,
and there in those numbers is 27 then a 4 and then a 31 and then a 15.
The 7 hours is also 25200 seconds, reminding me of the 2:52 PM!
29.530589, can be rounded up to 29.531, and 531 is close to the 532 minutes!
29.531 days is 2551478 seconds, round up able to 255200 seconds,
reminding me of 2:52 PM.

In 31 AD, the tilt angle of the Earth was 23.691 Degrees,
take away 23.439 Degrees the reference tilt angle of Astronomy,
leaves 0.252 Degrees, like 2:52 PM!
Google up Bible Numerics, God does exist, and wants you to find hints of that.]

If you were the biggest sinner in the world, Jesus would still be a bigger savior. Jesus conquered death for you. In Him you will find everlasting life. Don't underestimate the power of the creator of the universe. Jesus came to save sinners like you and me. Put your faith in the Lord and He'll lead in paths of righteousness for His name sake.

Being aware and feeling bad about your past is the first step. What your feeling is good news. It's time for a rebuilding and revival in your life. All the best to you.

You have to realize that God doesn't make any sense. I committed some of the most despicable sins that can be committed. Being sorry can not undo them. Yet He forgave me. WHY? There is no logical reason. He forgave me because..He loves me! I told someone that I do not deserve His Mercy. They said.."If you deserved it..it would not be mercy."

2 CO 6:1-2 says "
Working together with him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain. 2 For he says,

As long as you haven't insulted the Holy Ghost, you are fine. Insults to Holy Ghost are the only sins that will never be forgiven.
By the way, one can still convert back to Christianity, as seen in Nabeel Qureshi's example, which he described in his book "Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus".

Well, you must humble yourself before God, be completely honest about your rebellion and what you have been doing.
It is hard to say it, but we all deserve the punishment of God - hell - for our sins. Knowing that, coming forth and confessing your sins from an honest heart and hope for forgiveness, is all you can do.

Oh no, you are not far away! You are now in this place, thinking about God and His kingdom. You want to be saved, right? You are not screwed, no.

God wants everyone to be saved (1 Timothy 2:4-5)! It includes me, you, the lost, the murderer and the billioner, everyone.

Let's see, what Romans say about being saved... (Romans 10:8-13)

8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach):
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.
13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

It's understandable that everyone of us stumbles sometimes, all of us fail. And then we doubt. "Am I saved, because I did this and that, even willfully?" And it is true, we should not sin and do wrong against God willfully, and we should try to achieve the holiness of His (1 Peter 1:16).

But repentance and forgiveness are most important, I think. You are willing to see it, and then you put away pride and say "I did wrong, forgive me". Then you change your mind and your actions forever.

Trust God!! ❤

Peter walked with Jesus for three years and still denied Him. God's mercies are new every morning. Our God is l loving and willing to forgive. He is not willing that any should perish and His goodness will lead you to repentance. Call out to Him and see what He will do.

I think the sin, if you have committed a sin, would be a kind of adultery. Christ is referred to as like the groom and his church is like his bride. Well, first, you said you witnessed some miracles, but I don’t remember that you said whether you were baptized. Still, even if you were a baptized Christian, I am not clear on whether studying Buddhism is adultery, since Buddhism has no God. My ignorance of the particulars of Buddhism is enormous. I think they have some beliefs about what happens after death. There are probably some incompatible beliefs since their beliefs wouldn’t include God. I have not heard of any immoral practices. I think the Buddha is what they imitate. Not sure if that is worship. With my little knowledge, I thought the statue of Buddha was meant to be an example.

Christianity identifies Jehovah as God and his son as Jesus. Islam doesn’t dispute that is the name of God but only recognizes Jesus as a prophet who is wrongly exalted by Christianity. I doesn’t sound like this is full blown rejection of God either way, and Muslims and Christians tend to recognize each other as mixed up or confused believers.

You might meditate in a Christian fashion on some bible verse. Look at John, Chapter 8.

"I rebelled against Jesus to the highest level"

...hey, me too. But God, sent His only begotten Son. (John 3:16)

I can check off nearly all the boxes listed in 1 Corinthians 6:8-10 and yet I read on to 1 Corinthians 6:11 and see that "the blood of Jesus cleanseth from ALL sin" 1 John 1:7
