Hi, Kimanne ~ what's helped me a lot is writing down the Scripture verses in a notebook. Copying helps to imprint the words in your mind as you write them down. You'll also have it handy to refer back to when memorizing.

Learn them in groups of 3-5. Repeat them three times, then do that three times a day. Every other day, add another group of 3-5, then repeat the entire list three times (from the beginning), then do that three times a day.

Books of Moses:
Genesis
Exodus
Leviticus

Early Prophets:
Joshua
Judges
Ruth

Three Sets of History:
1 and 2 Samuel
1 and 2 Kings
1 and 2 Chronicles
