• Welcome to Christian Forums
  1. Welcome to Christian Forums, a forum to discuss Christianity in a friendly surrounding.

    Your voice is missing! You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.

    We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

  2. The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

    If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

    If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

  3. The forums in the Christian Congregations category are now open only to Christian members. Please review our current Faith Groups list for information on which faith groups are considered to be Christian faiths. Christian members please remember to read the Statement of Purpose threads for each forum within Christian Congregations before posting in the forum.
  4. Please note there is a new rule regarding the posting of videos. It reads, "Post a summary of the videos you post . An exception can be made for music videos.". Unless you are simply sharing music, please post a summary, or the gist, of the video you wish to share.
  5. There have been some changes in the Life Stages section involving the following forums: Roaring 20s, Terrific Thirties, Fabulous Forties, and Golden Eagles. They are changed to Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Golden Eagles will have a slight change.
  6. CF Staff, Angels and Ambassadors; ask that you join us in praying for the world in this difficult time, asking our Holy Father to stop the spread of the virus, and for healing of all affected.
  7. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.
  8. There has been an addition to the announcement regarding unacceptable nick names. The phrase "Let's go Brandon" actually stands for a profanity and will be seen as a violation of the profanity rule in the future.

I need help please!

    I was eating dinner with my friend and I had intrusive thought attack about the Holy Spirit. And I was about to move my tongue out as was wearing a mask like microscopic inch and the thought was trying to make me say it but I stopped myself. And tried to change the word in my head to something else and was trying to change it to something positive. I worry and I pray multiple times in my head for forgiveness to Jesus and God telling me that I wasn’t trying to whisper anything blasphemous. I am sweating and panicking badly!

    Hi Tytoman nice to meet you :)

    Temptations come to our mind. Temptation is not sin but temptation to sin. We do not sin until we make the temptation and evil thoughts our own and act on them. It is not sin to have a temptation. We are told when this happens to draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Resist the Devil and he will flee from you. We do this by prayer and by casting down every imagination and every high thing that exalts itself against God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience to Christ *JAMES 4:7-8; 2 CORINTHIANS 10:5

    Hope this helps.

    Its spiritual warfare i struggle with that as well. Blasphemy of the holy spirit is when you decide to reject gospel and keep living your own life and decide your to good to walk with Jesus after being shown the truth. And this is not done by accident, you can't do that by accident. My pastor just talked about this the other day and he said blasphemy of the holy spirit is when God asks you for the last time to follow his son and you tell him no.

    Temptation is not a sin. It is only sin when you act on it. Take a read of the scriptures that are provided in the last post. We are indeed in a warfare our sword is the Word of God's promises and our shield is faith and believing what they say. God saves us as we believe him and follow what he says. He gives us power through his Spirit as we believe his Word. This is God's work in us.

    God bless

    Your fine its spiritual warfare. You must realize those are not your thoughts. If its not part of your personality than its from the demonic realm. Our mind is a battlefield and we need to put on the armor of God to stand against the enemy.

    (Ephesians 6:11-18)
    11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

    12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

    13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

    14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

    15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

    16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

    17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

    18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

    I have OCD. I’m going to see a therapist tomorrow. I kept praying to God and Jesus for forgiveness. I was just sitting there with anxiety trying to say things nice about the Holy Spirit. I never wanted to say or whisper anything bad. I love Jesus Christ so much. I pray to HIM that I never meant or planned to whisper as I was tackling my intrusive thoughts.

    God knows you better than you know yourself.

    1 Corinthians 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

    Think about it. If you really blasphemed the Holy Spirit, would He still be with you, or would He have left you? If He left you, you would not even be able to call Jesus Lord and truly mean it. You would know if you truly blasphemed Him.
