There have been a lot of things that have happened. Too many to list. Mostly my fault I now realize. The most urgent right now though - I need a job. Please pray for God to lead me to a job. I lost my job 2 years ago. Attempted suicide. Went to the garage, started my car and waited. Four hours later I was found by my neighbors. Doctors said I should have died. Yet here I am -- with no after effects. Still unemployed though. Have lost my savings, my car and my home will be next. I'm alone so there is no other income. It's not that I haven't tried. I do. Every day. I'm told I'm either over qualified or under qualified. Now, thoughts of suicide are clogging my head again. I just can't seem to get any relief. There is one job that I am hoping will work out. I had a phone interview. I think it went pretty well. Problem is, they just weren't ready to hire just yet. Waiting on some funding. I was told to call back in 2 weeks. I did. No funding yet. I should call again in 2 weeks. That will be next Tuesday. At least it's hope. Thank you for your prayers. In Christ, Cheryl

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
