I hope you know from all these responses that no, Christians don't hate African Americans...if they do, they are not followers of Jesus Christ who died for ALL people. I will be praying for a miracle for you...

Your parents has no right to decide the 'right religion' for you. If you are of age by law, you don't need to listen to them and go to the church as many times as you like.

absolutly, church is a great way to worship God but it's not the only way, expecially in your situation. There is one thing that you have to remember...God LOVES YOU! no matter what happens or how others treat you God will ALWAYS love you.
Even if you don't go to church, that doesn't make you any less of a christian.

I got grounded for a few weeks and when I asked my parents why I was not allowed to become a Christian they said that the Church does not allow African Americans inside it, they told me that if I was allowed in, it would only be so I could be molested and abused. I was told that the Church is full of money-grubbing pigs who would like nothing more than to kill those who do not listen to their strict ideals.




it's not true... my church has African Americans, (African's too!), Russians, Philipinos, Whites, Asians, Jewish, Iranians, Indians, Pakistanians, Germans... all kinds. God loves all people no matter what color or sex or age. You can see that there is an African American couple who is a part of our ministry team at my church at shadygrove.org look at the staff picture at the bottom and you'll see Brother Anthony... he's very very tall!!!

Ksiv- To be honest with you, yeah you can be. And, I will futher venture to say that if that is your parents reason for not going, then perhaps they don't have a reason for not going either. Actually, a true Atheist is someone that is completely nuetral, doesn't believe there is enough proof that supports any reality of God. And, most of all, they are still good people. If you are this close to religion, then perhaps to say you are Atheist might be wrong.

I beg of you, don't choose suicide. It sounds like we need more adults on this planet like you. If you choose suicide, then you won't have a chance to be one, will you?

permission to seek God , and worship him

3. do what you can to worship God , as long as you live with parents , to obey them
and still spend time with Jesus ...

4. find a minister , a brother in the Lord to speak and counsel with ,
