• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

I need to talk to someone ii have sever anexity disorder and I don't know if I will ever find A man who understands it or loves me without leaving me

None of us ever knows what the future holds. All we can do is to leave our future in the hands of God, where it is most safe, and carry on doing whatever he gives us to do, as best we can.

Just keep going, and trust him.

I will pray that you find a man who will love you and understand your anxiety disorder. I have post traumatic stress disorder but my fiance loves and accepts me. I will pray that Jesus leads a man into your life who will cherish you and understand your pain.

I've had General Anxiety most of my 60 years. I have two bits of advice, one general, one specific. Generally, I would ask you become more flexible in your thinking, more open-minded, always asking for truth from God. I see you are listed as a Baptist. Generally that tradition is very black and white in its thinking and presentation of God, and Christian behavior. Consider changing how you think, even "how you think about what you think." Open yourself to new Christian ideas you may be unfamiliar with. I struggled with anxiety, and anxiety about God most of my life, and was ready to throw in the towel on faith. Then I was given a copy of the book, The Shack, and everything changed. I highly suggest reading it. When I was at my wit's end with God, I asked Him to show me who He really was. It was then that He did. Specific advice...it's no accident CBD oil is being touted as a huge help in treating various conditions...because it works. It really does. Please consider searching out any internet forum like "CBDusers" or the like for information. It worked for me, no prescriptions needed. Anxiety is most likely a genetic condition, and "lack of faith" has nothing whatsoever to do with dealing with anxiety. A faith approach to anxiety is secondary to treating the medical origin. Doctor's pharmacy prescriptions usually make the condition worse. Very best to you.

Let me urge you to find a good physician recommended by trustworthy friends ---preferable a Internal Medicine specialist, for they are good at diagnosis. There is medication for anxiety/depression as a physiological condition; and if you are mostly afflicted by emotional and stress conditions, then know that God is expert at dealing with that.

If you have the Lord Jesus in your heart and lord of your life as best of friends, you can well find peace by knowing God is with you ---and He will be if you receive His beloved Son into your heart, for all things have been committed into His hands by His Father. Meditate and pray over John 14 in your Bible, friend. Keep looking up always, for God cares always! Write me personally if you wish to chat privately about God and life.
