Just so no one else has to: Yes, some conditions cause fast pertrification/fossilization. Other conditions do not. We know this. It's meaningless as an argument.

Yes Jon, petrification does not take millions of years, never has...
It would be nice in creationists quit lying about scientists ever saying it did.

Then show us a book, not a web site, that it is written that it takes only a few hundreds or a few thousand years for something petrify.
