    Have you read John 20:31?
It says that these things - i.e in his Gospel - have been written so that we - i.e all who read it, not just Jews - may have eternal life through his name. It does not mention the "gospel of the kingdom", that is your addition.
Eternal life is through Jesus; just what I have said all along.

Only Paul was described as the “ Chosen Vessel” Of God to proclaim the Gospel to the Gentiles. I have no doubt there were Jews sprinkled through this audience of mostly Gentile listeners and they had an equal chance to become Believers....
Peter’s main preaching was Delivered to Jewish ears , but there were Gentiles in that audience also at times.....he was claiming that preaching to Gentiles was at any given time, just as valid as preaching to Jews....Seeing that there is “ no longer Greek nor Jew” this all makes obvious sense......it’s a moot point.

Jesus made it clear in Matthew 10:5 that the gospel of the kingdom was not meant for the Gentiles. You have to understand what John was saying in context of that verse.

Anyway, because Israel has been blinded (Romans 11), that gospel will not save anyone now, Jew or Gentile.

Only the gospel that Paul preached, 1 Cor 15:1-4, will save.

Well, whatever you want to believe.

The Gospel - i.e Christ's death for our sins, and resurrection from the dead - was preached by Jesus, Peter and John, and it is for everyone, not just the Jews.

As you believe that 1/3 of the NT books aren't for us, not even when they agree with Paul; you will always have incomplete understanding - as well as missing out on a lot of things.
    But so be it.

I said many times that All scripture is written FOR us, just not all are TO us, nor ABOUT us.

    Get that right, at least.

I never said I didn’t believe there will be a tribulation before His coming.

    I didn’t mention the tribulation.

I am only discussing the rapture and resurrection and what the scriptures say about when they occur; at His coming.

I believe the Church will be raptured, after the resurrection of the dead in Christ as raised.

Do you believe the resurrection and rapture occur at His coming?

But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
    1 Thessalonians 4:13-16

You could never see what God don't want you to see. Paul is false. It's like the pandemic happening now, you can't find Lysol spray on store shelves, because everyone feels entitled to have it. But God gave a cure to whom he willed to have it, which makes the Lysol spray moot! What does that say about you, God and your belief in Paul if you don't even know the cure to Corona Virus? There are people who spoke against Paul. I admire their faith but it all comes down to the fact that we are all predestined. To whoever reads this you are correct in your assertion that Paul is a false apostle, build on your faith and pray to God. Pray more talk less. Wise men pray but fools say there is no God. You are special. To those that it was not given to know, do not persecute them or force them to your revelation for it was God and only God that allowed you to know. Your tongue against them who is at odds against you, is against God. God is perfect in his ways, there is no mistake in his word and work. It is all his will! I have my Lord's work to do. When the time comes many will call me a false prophet, but I come because Peter has caught me, I don't know my number but I will be named Jude because it is Jude who sits on the throne to judge my specific tribe!

I have been silenced before on this website. I wonder what curse came of them that silenced me for speaking the truth. Everything I say is true whether Orthodox, Catholic or Protestant. The Lord's word has been in my life. The Lord's work is in my life.

As the picture shows, I believe the Lord will meet us in the air. That is what Paul was referring to when he said coming of the Lord.

His feet will not touch down on the Mount of Olives though, that is reserved for during his 2nd coming, for Israel.

If you don’t believe what Paul wrote here, then explain why?

I have no idea why you keep repeating the same point.

When Paul talk about the coming, he is talking about meeting the Body of Christ in the air, to bring us into heaven.

He is not referring to the 2nd coming of Christ for Israel.

You are making up things out of thin air and changing the meaning of words, while ignoring the scripture.

If you reject scripture and choose to make up your own Theology, then why even read the Bible?

You find it hard to agree to disagree? No one is rejecting scripture here, both of us have a different interpretation of what Paul meant in that passage about the coming of the Lord.

I already stated earlier, if you believe the body of Christ will only be taken to heaven at Jesus's 2nd coming, then you are a post trib believer

This picture contrast my view, which is pre-trib and yours. In Pre-trib, the coming of the Lord is indicated by the line in blue.

Cornelius was a one-off event for Peter. There was no scriptural record of Peter ever preaching to the Gentiles after that.

God made him go there, precisely so that he could defend Paul and his gospel of the uncircumsion.

I did unsubscribe from this thread, but I was browsing, and cannot let this go.

If you believe that Paul is a false Apostle, then the Holy Spirit must have made a mistake in including his writings in the Bible - and it means you don't believe the Bible is inerrant.

How can someone build their faith if they can't trust the Bible because it includes the writings of a false prophet?

Well that's good - so it's not a mistake that Paul's epistles are in the NT then?

That's because teaching that Paul was a false prophet is against forum rules.
If that's what you are saying and what you have been teaching; sooner or later someone will report you.

    Maybe nothing.
Maybe they were blessed by God; won the lottery, got a better job or whatever.

It's not true that Paul is a false apostle.

God is without error. There is no failure in his word and works. The Lord's words are mind and blessings. It is man's understanding of God that are erroneous.
We live in a world created by God and we give him all praises and thanks for everything created. Yet, how can he allow the most dangerous creatures to live among us, and serve their purpose which includes causing the death of a human being? The death caused by that creature is not by error. Death caused by all things is willed by the Father. Scripture proves it by the death and resurrection of Jesus who is all things created! (Paul was correct here). That is why we must “pray to live”. Nothing happens outside the will of God. Natural disasters and pestilence do not happen outside of God’s will.

One simply does not build their faith on their own, for if the Father does not will it, your faith is in vain which will sprout doubt in your heart and many errors of the tongue will happen. To illustrate my point, I’ll quote some words of my Lord.

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” Matthew 7:13

Verses 14 -23 are all part of the same teaching of verse 13.

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, you will recognize them by their fruits.”

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the WILL of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.”

Workers of lawlessness is simply one who breaks the law.

The Lord’s word is his work. If you keep to his words in the context that everything out of his mouth comes to pass, then without God’s will, you will not know that Benjamin (Paul) is a ravenous wolf. I am not here to condemn anyone in their beliefs by the words of Paul. For whatever you believe in, down to your denomination of faith is God’s will. I am here only to speak the truth of what I am hearing in my heart. If salvation was so easy, the Lord will never say “But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a FEW find it. I could just jump on the bandwagon with everyone else and believe that Paul words are of an apostle of Christ. Truth of the matter is, salvation is not easy. This is why as a Roman Catholic I can never say that my religion is the one true Church. My heart doesn't tell me that. I believe religion doesn't matter just as long as you believe in Jesus Christ. Which means Protestants are not going to hell simply because they are not part of Catholicism.

If I dump Paul’s epistles, the essence Of Jesus’ words is still present in the New Testament. If you take Jesus’ words away from the New Testament however, one is forever lost with no chance of finding that narrow gate to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

If we are all called to be saved, then why so few make it through the narrow gate?

    Yes.
So do you accept that Paul's writings are in the Bible because they are correct and that he preaches the Gospel?

You're saying that God chooses that some will have faith but not others?
    I disagree.

What has that got to do with Paul being a false prophet, or prove that he was?

    i) Paul's name was Saul. He was from the tribe of Benjamin. Paul is simply the Greek form of Saul, which he used when he was ministering among the Gentiles.
ii) Saul of Tarsus met with the risen Christ on the road to Damascus. He was called to preach the Gospel, and lived, and died, for the Gospel. He was not a false prophet.

    I believe God's word - the Bible.
We only have your word for what you are hearing in your heart. I could be hearing the opposite in my heart - how would we know who was correct? By the Bible.

Are you saying that those who do not believe that Paul was a false prophet are not saved?

That "bandwagon" as you call it, is the entire Christian church, of all denominations - and that includes the Mods on these forums.
Again, if you are teaching that Paul was a false apostle and his epistles shouldn't be in the Bible you are breaking forum rules.

    Well that's good, at least.

But not in so much detail.
Jesus showed by his miracles that God loves us - but Paul wrote that great chapter on love in 1 Corinthians 13, and said that nothing can ever separate us from his love, Romans 8:38-39.
Jesus taught that the disciples would receive the Holy Spirit, and spoke of the Spirit's work - but Paul wrote about life in the Spirit, Romans 8, the gifts that the Spirit gives us, 1 Corinthians 12:12-30, Ephesian 4:11, Romans 12:6-8, and the fruit that the Spirit bears in us, Galatians 5:22-23.

You will miss out on so much if you "dump" Paul's epistles. That would mean tearing them out of the Bible, anyway.

    I'm not deceived.
