Hiya BBAS,

I'm not familiar with this author, but I'm all for adding books to your library :)

There is a sort of debate amongst Christians today as to whether or not Spurgeon subscribed to Calvinism. I'd say buy the book and read it with a discerning eye....

Good Day, BT

I would be intrested in that debate if you have any information, given the writtings and sermons by Spurgeon.

Peace to u,

Bill

Hey BBAS

To be honest I'm not very involved in the debate regarding whether or not he was a calvinist. I do have a friend who is well read on the subject and I'll ask him for some information for you.

To me whether or not he was calvinistic in his beliefs isn't important (IMO). I'm reading his book right now "Lectures to my Students" and it's a good read, if not quite dated in parts.

I'll get some info back to you on the debate though....

BT

edit - typo
