I have long thought that a sin hardly ever spoken about or taught as sin is Human Loyalty.
I see this as an underlying cause of schisms in the church and following the thoughts of others rather than being taught of Him.
This has to rank close to pride as a very grave sin condition that leads to compromise, dishonour, elitism, factions, and must be a major cause of weakness in the church.
