"The Toba catastrophe theory as presented in the late 1990s to early 2000s suggested that a bottleneck of the human population occurred c. 70,000 years ago, proposing that the human population was reduced to perhaps 10,000 individuals[3] when the Toba supervolcano in Indonesia erupted and triggered a major environmental change."
Population bottleneck - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

10,000. Not 2. Not 8. 10,000.

None of the genetic studies I have read come even close to supporting the claim that genetic diversity came from 1 couple that lived 6,000 years ago, or one family that survived a flood 4,000 years ago. None.

Since genetics may have been different, and the way they come up with the time is a bunch of utter hooey, that means nothing..except a statement of faith. I have my own faith thanks.

Why would it be different? How would it be different?
You don't know? Now if you had said...we know genetics was the same because of...A, B C and D ..you might have something. As it is you are just flaying in the wind. Have you some science that says it was the same as now exactly? Or are you asking for belief?

The events listed in Genesis do support a very different genetics. What do you have to offer us in the way of evidence for some opposite claim?
