I would have already moved it to the appropriate section if I could. Just because I don't have the authority to move threads doesn't mean I'm wrong. By your definition anything political belongs in here because it's reported on the news, and it doesn't. If it has to do with the American presidential campaign, it belongs in the American politics section.

But more specifically it's political "news". And more specifically it's American political "news" and that's why there's a separate forum for such topics.

That's why the other forum is more appropriate just like I bolded before. Everything about the election is news, but there is a specific place for it. This section is littered with politics and that isn't what it is for.

I am going to ignore it now, though, as it seems your "news" story would have sunk to page 2 already if it weren't for my traffic.
