TIME (1)


Before time’s dawn and all God made -Gen.1:1
Amidst eternal night -Gen.1:2
Gross darkness had on earth to fade
When God spoke forth the light -Gen.1:3


But with the light came time to earth -Gen.1:5
The same that ages man -Ps.90:4,10
Jesus had known before his birth
Man’s sin would spoil the plan -Gen.3:6


Now crucial is this time to all
Like sand, seems life to flow -Isa.66:8
Within a trice, nations can fall
Or melt away like snow -Isa.40:6


God’s image dwells within a frame -Gen.2:7
In modest forms of clay -Gen.1:26
When righteous through His Holy Flame -Mt.3:12
We’ll see God’s face one day -Rev.22:4

But util then, the flesh grows old -Ps.103:5
Through sin, grows frail and sick -Deut.24:16
Yet time, man’s spirit cannot hold -Hos.13:14
But stays forever quick -Mt.10:26


For that of God, can never age -Gen.3:22
Nor ever see decay -Ro.8:21
Alone to flesh is time a cage -Ro.7:24
That Christ will free one day


Through Jesus’ hand, the sky will fold -Isa.34:4
Time will become no more
Of this the world must now be told -Mt.28:19
Must seek Salvation’s Door -Jn.14:6


For Christ Life’s’ Door, will set her free -Ro.6:3-4
Will keep from sin and shame -Ro.6:18
Then when this age has ceased to be
We’ll pass the Judgement Flame -1Co.3:13

On earth alone can time be found -1Co.7:29.2Ti.1:9
For such has God no need - -Mt.16:3.Tit.1:2
By time is not the Father bound -Jer.10:10.Da.4:3
Nor Christ His Holy Seed​

On this we truly can depend
Though first it may seem odd
A day will dawn that sees no end -Rev.21:23-25
As was and is with God​

No sun nor moon will be in sight -Gen.1:14.Rev.20:11
No star, as guide to man -Mt.24:29.Isa.34:4
For Christ alone will be his Light -Rev.21:23.Rev.22:5
As was, ere time began​

Then living clay will turn to dust -Gen.3:19
Yet not what dwells within -Gen.3:22
But then will come, what coming must
For those still bound to sin -Rev.20:11-15​

Of God! Man’s spirit cannot die -Gal.6:8
Although the flesh may ruin 2Pe.1:14
In Christ, we like a Butterfly 1Cor.15:51
Will rise from our cocoon -1Cor.15:52​

New robes of light, in Christ we’ll wear -Rev.6:1
We’ll fly on virtue’s wing -Isa.40:31
By grace we’ll soar high in the air -1Th.4:17
To join our Lord and King​

But what of you when time has ceased? Mt.25:31-33
When from your clay set free -2Pe.1:14
In endless flame just like the beast?-Rev.20:13-15
Or live with Christ like me? Rev.20:4​

If you don’t have the Father’s Seal Rev.9:4
With Satan’s then your date
Heaven or hell The choice is real -Deut.30:19
And time my friend wont wait.-Lk.12:16-21 ​
