Hi! I feel like my life is missing something, like I'm not doing enough good in this world.
What do you think one should do if they want to live an angelic-like life? Angelic meaning completely pure, kind, benevolent. I really need some ideas and inspiration to what I can do to live a more angelic life. A life where someone is as pure as an an angel.
I want to do good in life. But I don't know how exactly and what to do. I can think of small things, but I want to do greater good.
Please help me with ideas on how to be a better person.

We teamed up with Faith Counseling. Can they help you today?

I wish I had even one answer but I have the same problem. Is it even possible? We have such a sinful nature. Maybe an inth of our lives we could be angelic?
If you find an answer let me know and I will also watch your thread.
    God bless you!

It is not so complicated. First forget about your sexuality, angels don't have such thing. Then forget about sinning. Everything else God will do for you. Don't forget to give thanks to him after this happen.

I`m always amazed at how fleshy I can be in traffic - so angelic is out of range for me.

If you"ve thought of small things, I would pursue those with God's help.
"His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." Matt 25:21

How about just living like you figure a good human being would live ?

That should be enough for everyone without driving you insane trying to reach unrealistic goals.

She want to live like angel. Nuns live so, but in the world this is possible too. Being only good human is ok for regular christian life, not for angelic life. Don't forget based on your life/works you will receive reward.

    1. Don't try to be anything. You are not an angel and that's a good thing.
    2. God is not interested in what you can do for Him or anyone else. What He does want to see is Jesus in you. When you are 100% committed to Christ and you are allowing Him to live in your place, you will find yourself doing God's will.
    3. God gave us Jesus to be everything that we should be but cannot be. Trying to do or be better will lead to failure and defeat. Ask someone who knows, like me.
    4. God wants our availability, not our activity. Lord Jesus prayed in the Garden, "Not my will but yours be done". He went on to obey even to death on the cross. And God highly exalted Him, and made the name of Jesus the highest name of all. When we do likewise, God will use us for His glory and His purpose - and we will be greatly blessed.
    5. The cross precedes resurrection. We need to die to ourselves before we are of any use to God's kingdom.

Ephesians 5 from verse 1 reads, "Be ye therefore imitators of God as beloved children, and walk in love, even as Christ slso loved you; " I believe this is what Christ would rather have us do for the purposes of His glory.

Commit to volunteer 10 hours a week with an organization that directly serves the poor or needy. The commitment is important, as you will not be able to just help when you feel like it.

We are not Angels and even they sinned (2 Peter 2:4).

In the Bible you'll find mostly ordinary people that God used for extraordinary things, despite all the mistakes they made.. The disciples were mostly fishermen, even unlearned. You could make a long list from Old to New Testaments.

Jesus said "follow me." This is what you should do.

Otherwise you can create a pseudo spirituality and go off in all kinds of tangents.

[Act 4:13 NIV] 13 When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.

[Mat 4:19 NIV] 19 "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will send you out to fish for people."
[Mat 16:24 NIV] 24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.
[Luk 5:27 NIV] 27 After this, Jesus went out and saw a tax collector by the name of Levi sitting at his tax booth. "Follow me," Jesus said to him,
[Jhn 10:27 NIV] 27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

I agree, but many can't volunteer for many reasons. volunteering would be a number one priority in my view if possible.

Focus on Jesus not angels. Pray to God and read the Bible.
    Matthew 6:33
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

    2 Peter 3:18
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

    Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

    Ephesians 4:29
Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.

    Mark 12:30-31

30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself."

I imagine there are a few people who couldn’t, but there are ways to volunteer even with physical or mental limitations. It sounded like this person has a strong pull to give deeply, which I can identify with.

The bible tells us in the LORD's prayer. "Let your will [God's will] be done one earth as it is in heaven".

The first step to making a heavenly impact is to know what heaven is wanting. To do that we need to spend daily time in prayer, not just 5 minutes, but a sufficient amount of time.

The bible tells us that the fruit of having God in our lives, is more love, joy, peace, faithfulness, etc.

God will give direction, and the heart for it, as you spend time with Him, and act out the desires he puts in you.
