wonder how you explain the fact that animal sacrafices are not currently happening, yet are mentioned to happen during the 1000 year rule of Christ, or why Jesus said this in his kingdom if it were he would fight for it. Or when was the beast thrown in the lake of fire, or when was satan cast away in to the dungen?

I have heard some good commentary on this before that it relates to the antiChrist stopping the Eucharistic anamnesis, which seems like the best explanation (unless Fundamentalists in the Judeo-Christian tradition for the sake of Biblical literalism want to bring back blood sacrifice for a short time and just not worry about the other Biblical and Theological consequences from that action).
