no thanks, I don't think you're anywhere up to speed on the issue. the concept of "adversarial" doesn't appear to ring a bell with you, so, this would be a one sided conversation and I'm not interested in schooling anyone today.

I can't wait till they start doing this with other crimes. Reckless driving, speeding, and attempted assault with a deadly weapon (car), but we will drop the last one if you pay the $3000+ ticket for the other two (paying ticket = pleading guilty).

No need to wait - this is done all the time already in traffic court, drug cases, etc. The court system is overburdened so prosecutors are rewarded for clearing cases by getting convictions.
