Witches aren't real, they don't have magic and cant cast spells.
It's like being up against a Christian sports person or sports team.

Witches did not mess it up. Nothing they did could have efficacy unless God allows it. The reason we are in the state we are in is because most churches treat the Bible like many treat the Constitution. Very few are faithful in rendering correct interpretations of Scripture. Most pastors bs in a way they know their sheep want to hear it said.

Being taught sound doctrine - and desiring to hear and learn sound doctrine - makes a believer into what the Lord called "salt of the land." Salt in those days was a major method for preservation. Believers (in enough quantity) act as a "preservative" of God's protection of their land. Salt also causes "good taste." Certain generations exercised "good taste" in their culture and entertainment. Degrading cultural thinking opens up when too little salt of the earth is to be found by God.

The USA - compared to prior generations that generated excellence in manners, living, and the world of entertainment - is now degrading and even morbid in comparison. And, God has begun trampling believers under foot by men by not stopping the corruption manifested in the rigged elections in 2020. God is allowing it to punish and discipline his church. If they do not heed and accept corrections, and drop the many artificially flavored false teachings they love to suck on? We are done for as a nation.

This passage could be true in the case in which everybody interprets scripture correctly, and yet few follow it. So, it's not a proof text for your point.

Most what is called "pastors" are faking it and appealing to their congregations natural desire to see things as they personally see fit. A good pastor will step on toes and tell them the truth when some will not want to hear it.

Once again we see many (a great number of teachers) being the case. While the Bible tells us that if all were truly led of the Spirit? We should be finding only a few teaching the word of God. It also says that many will find sound doctrinal teaching distasteful. For when the Bible is correctly taught is like a slap in the face to those operating in arrogance and their pride.

We have here the case of "many" competing against a "few." ===== "Few find it."

We can glean from Job but you can’t make it an absolute rule. A broader and more balanced approach that can be applied to all is Matthew 5:45.
